Grand Paradise Bavaro and The Club Beach Resort and Spa - All Inclusive

The food was absolutely horrendous. Staff was not nice to guests. Beach was great, beautiful water.

the hotel is not great but a good value. the location is awesome, the beach is beautiful, there are plenty of bars... the food might make you sick a little so bring medicine in advance, except the dinner reservation restaurants were all great... the staff acts like you are inconveniencing them so don't expect great service but overall for spring break, it was good.

For a spring break location, Grand Paradise Bavaro was a great location. There was always something to do. There were plenty of pools and the beach was only a walk away from my hotel room. The downfall was the food. Half of the people from my trip got very sick and had to spend the day in their bathrooms. This could be correlated to the amount of drinking of alcohol and not water though so I don't hold the hotel 100% liable.

The beaches were absolutely beautiful. The water was clean and great. Service was ok, staff only went the extra mile if they knew they were getting tipped. They would actually linger around for it on something like getting you juice at breakfast. The rooms were very simple nothing special. The food wasnt good at all. I had one good meal the whole time there. I tried the steak house, seafood restaurant and asian food. Thank god for asian to save us on our last night. The buffets lacked quality, freshness and presentation . i wanted to tell some cooks to get out the way I'll do it myself.

Was an overall good experience, good value for the money. Room was always clean,no bugs, hot water, plenty of bottled water and drinks in the room. Towels and toilet paper were well stocked, and the staff were very good even with the language barrier. Beach was great. Food was ok but was different than I am used to. Wife got very sick from sushi. Not much to do at night. Brought a lot of 1dollar bills, they went a long way.

i just got back from 9 days at the grand paradise ,it's my second stay there and it was every bit as good as the last time ,for me it's the staff that make it great ,they're warm and friendly and very helpful ,the pool's are spotless and the beach was perfect,i'll be staying here again for certain

Ok so here is a straight up review of the resort. 1. The pictures that are in the slide show are NOT the pictures of the resort they are of a different ones... FALSE ADVERTISING. Only about 5 of the pictures are of the actual resort (the bad ones) so BEWARE The rooms were filthy and we had to stay in three different ones prior to finding one that was decent. The workers of the resort were very friendly however any of the higher up people were rude and ignored you for everything. Because this was our honeymoon we were supposed to get a complementary bottle of rum and a fruit tray... they promised us this three times and we received Nothing. Luckily this was just an extended honeymoon from the year before when we stayed in punta cana at the IFA villas which was WONDERFUL. The basic room at the IFA is like the suite at this resort. If this was our primary honeymoon i would have been outraged. Every person I spoke to at the resort hated the rooms they all stated that they were filthy ... couldnt get any wash cloths to shower with and had to hide toilet paper. While we were down there they had to fumigate the rooms to exterminate cockroaches which i also saw in the buffet area. Bottom line if you stay at this resort and love it ... its obviously your first time in punta cana. Only one person said they were satisfied with this place the whole week we were there and it was their first. If you stay at this resort you will be severely disappointed... Especially if you have stayed down there before and know what kind of an awesome time the Dominican Republic can be.

Not much Dominican music during entertainments, in the disco club or backround music. It's a shame ... Pilows and sheets were smelly A water link in the room never been fixed even if we had warned the reception Staff is good and welcoming Food is ok

This hotel is a straight up 3 star. The food was good. The beach was very nice. The staff was noncommittal and not overly friendly but not rude. I would only stay at this hotel again if it was priced significantly lower than other hotels in the area. It was a good value for the amount I paid.

It was the vacation I would not wish on anyone. The rooms smell of the chemicals they use to get kill the roaches and boy there were plenty of them. The chemicals also made my 3 yr old sick. The staff is rude and most of the staff does not speak English. There was a constant towel shortage. The food was always a miss and the list goes on. If you use the spa bring a timer they will short you on the time.
