Grand Paradise Bavaro and The Club Beach Resort and Spa - All Inclusive

The hotel was very nice, they had a great pool and the beach was great. The employees there were great, except at the front desk at times was not very helpful. Make sure you bring your own watch or alarm clock because they do not have any in the room and that was a problem since we had excursions in the morning. The only real complaint was that in order to go anywhere you had to climb up stairs and after awhile that got annoying. Especially since my room was on the 3rd floor going up and down the stairs all day was not fun. The food was not good at the buffet. But the internaional restaurant was amazing. All in all it was a fun time, make sure you book an excursion!!

This was a great hotel. The nightly shows were spectacular. The Entertainment staff were especially friendly and made our stay more enjoyable. The food was also very good. My 19 and 15 year old daughters loved it. We all had a wonderful time and are looking forward to going back in the near future.

The Grand Paradise was more then what we thought we were going to get. We paid so little so we figured we were staying in a shack. We were extremely wrong!!!! The resort is absolutely beautiful. It was breath-taking. The bartenders at the beach were amazing! They kept us liquored up and very happy! The beach was beautiful. The pools were beautiful! The food was ehhh- not the best. And the gift shop women are rude but that was it! Everything else was wonderful! I would recommend it to everyone.

This is my second time visiting Grand Paradise Bavaro. The resort is very clean and staff are exremely friendly. They offer a variety of foods and they have a great chinese/Japanese restaurant. Big pools, room was comfortable, and the beach on site is beautiful. Family friendly. I had a great time

The hotel was comfortable,the room was clean when we got to hotel there were no towels,soap in bathroom but i called the front desk and got it.The air conditioner worked well even though I overheard other guests complain about it. We opted for going to the buffet restaurant since the others needed to have reservations and there was always a long line.. but we cant complain the food was good.The only problem or nuisance we encountered was the "vacation club" or "timeshare " offerings like we like to call it. We went to relax and we really hate to be bombarded with these offerings. All the hotels are really distant from airport and city limits.Pool was great ,beautiful beaches, not too much entertainment.

Grand Paradise was just so so. Service was very poor, you may have to ask for drinks 2 or 3 times during meals before they would show up. Nothing really bad at the hotel but a lot of little things could be better. The best part of the hotel was the beach, it was the best. You could walk for miles is both directions.

The Grand Paradise Bavaro & The Club Beach Resort & Spa Resort turned out to be a major dissapointment for me. However, I went from lamps and good lighting to no lamps, poor lighting, days without washclothes, a bathroom witch had water leaking from the upstairs into the light fixture and onto the floor. The service at the restaurants was extreemly slow and 2 of the 3 dinner reservations, turned out to be a pepto bismo or immodium experience. The manager offered new reservations because the servers were being changed, I declined. The buffet and evening snack food was ok because I could pick what I liked and it was close to the building where I stayed. The refridgerator had no alcohol beverages only sodas. The guest service person gave misinformation which cost me money and an extreemly unnerving uneventful trip which was rectified by the manager providing a free excursion and beverages in my room. I feel most of my dissappointment stemed from the language barriors as very few workers spoke or comprehended english which attributed to poor quality service and frustration on my part. I guess my comparing this trip to my first one at Sun Scape was a bad idea. I have a wide range of people whom I cannect with and I cannot, in good concious, recommend this resort as I did with Sun Scape those who went there, still talk about it and make recommendations to others.

The pools and grounds were very well maintained, pretty and clean. The beach was very nice, very clean. But the room was dissapointing. We got an ocean view room and we couldnt see the ocean at all. The locks on the balconey door was broken, they did not fix or change my room. You have to put your room key in this slot thing when you enter the room to get the air conditioning going and the electricity, so when you leave your room, the AC goes off and you come back to a hot and humid room. The food was yucky and the same day after day. Not alot of options. Over all it was a fun stay, but i wouldnt recommend it. The staff doesnt speak english and they try to be friendly but you can tell they really dont want to be there or get you a clean fork or clean your room.

The Grand Bavaro was so more than we could have asked for. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were always cleaned with a personal touch and the overall vibe was truly relaxing. Be sure to explore the various beach. 2 Thumbs up.

I am very glad we chose to ignore some of the negative comments on this resort. Everything about this place was first class. The beach, the room, the food, the staff.
