Beautiful beach, amazing rooms, service was great, food was delicious!

The grounds and pools were great including the beach. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was good and there was a lot to do. The room was below average although we didn't complain until checking out. We also had to ask for fresh towels every day. For the most part it was very good.

Stayed in the 6000 building and saw a tarantula that lived under the broken pillar (twice). Told employees about it and they said it must of been a crab?! The food was about a 2 out of 10, ten being the best. My husband got sick for 3 days. It rained for the first three days of our trip, (not the resorts fault). The service was poor, many times, they didn't seem to care, especially at the restaurants where we made reservations. We were definitely the minorities, being American, so very few employees couldn't understand us. This is the first review that I have ever written, and I've been on many trips, good and bad, but this one needs to be told. I did not feel safe at this resort. The locks on the sliding glass door barely worked, there was no deadbolt locks. I feel that I didn't even have a vacation.

The food was ok not great breakfast was always good and they had hotdogs and burgers for luch cant go wrong with that....the beach was awesome could walk in either direction for miles and the there was also plenty of room to lay out too.....the water was nice...pool was big...rooms were ok didnt spend much time in them though....staff didnt speak much english which didnt help things. it is a great place if your looking for cheap place to go to the beach....plenty of activities too

Fantastic hotel with a great beach. Plenty to do at this all-inclusive. I would recommend to everyone!

It was my first time in Punta Cana. I have to say that my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stayed in this hotel. The food was great! The people from the hotel were very polite and helpful. Tip: Try the Asia restaurant .."Sushi"...Excellent!...You need to make reservation for the main restaurants and you have to be punctual.

The service wasn't the best, but we went for a very relaxing vacation without many demands. We didn't require much assistance other than getting towels in our room, booking one excursion off the resort and getting back to the airport. Overall the experience was good, the resort sufficient for our needs, the nightly entertainment was good. The food was par to sub par, but I have heard this about most resorts in the DR. Anytime you wanted to find out information or book something, including a dinner reservation for a restaurant on the resort, you had to wait in line. The people were helpful and friendly, it just took a long time to figure out where the line was and then to get to them. Everyone who worked there, once you had their attention was very helpful and sweet. They all had great personalities. Overall, it was an average resort. We had a great time, but would have no matter where we stayed.

Overall, very enjoyable hotel. I spent most of my time lounging around the pool and doing my beach walk. I enjoyed the food. I must say that one needs to understand that you are dealing with a country that is adapting to the food whims of each culture that visit: Germans, French, American plus Dominican cuisine. In effect, openness to other foods is pivotal to enjoying the food. Dominicans are into naturally grown root vegetables which are uncommon in the United States so I challenge all who visit to tase the plantains, the yautia root, which can be seasoned to your taste. They have 7 or 8 restaurants on this hotel. Themes are Italian, Domincan, Asian, Steak, Seafood, and Continental. I loved the steakhouse Filet and the seafood restaurant was good. Las Palmas restuarant which is buffet has a variety of everything for every taste. The pool was nice but would be nice to build in a swim up bar. The beach water is warm and nice waves. I had a oceanview room so the waves made me sleep. Downside: You do need to brush up on spanish as the locals are not bilingual but they are all very nice and joyful people. They will work with you and at least gesture you things in order to communicate. Also, if you like to sleep in, beware that sometimes the maids will be talking to each other in the echo-y hallways makes sleeping a bit irritating. There are timeshare people wearing light blue shirts scattered throughout the hotel. They will badger you to get you into some reduced rate deal at the hotel should you want to come back. They can be a bit annoying. The drinks are sugary and it is all national liquors so you might need to get used to that. The fitness needs major renovation. It is bad. Other than that, it was a great value and a great experience!

I took my girlfriend here as a surprise trip. It was worth the price. The staff attitude could improve but overall the experience was great. I will return to Punta Cana again, but probably not to the same resort.
