Fun wow!!!
Excellent!!! But return home we were misdirected by cocoa rep. [...]about when to leave for airport; therefore, we were way too early and then flight was delayed... 2 hours... missed connecting flight... spent night in washington at Marriott; Wanda's baggage misplaced!(Found in Orlando the next day) Another day spent at airport it seemed before arriving in Orlando at 5pm...

gran principle bavaro
because language was a problem, it was difficult to get directions or ask for an explanation. We needed things restocked in the mini bar routinely. Once we asked for it to be corrected it was done immediately.

awesome hotel i suggest that you pick the anbar if your an adult or adult couple the esmerelda is fabulous and the premier is where we stayed and it was awesome

Trip worth taking
Had a great time. The resort is huge... The food was excellent with many choices.. The staff was excellent.. fun and friendly. The only thing i would suggest is to take along washcloths.. the resort has everything but washcloths.. Had a great time ..will go back...

Top Notch Hotel - Spotless & Perfect
i can;t say enough about this hotel. Our remote for the TV broke and a new one was delivered within 5 minutes, on departure the bell boy came within 4 minutes of my phone call. The rooms, grounds, common areas were sparkling clean.. Very impressive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets were excellent. Something there for everyone..Eat healthy or heartily to your heart's content. The beach was a rather long walk, or you can take their transportation which run constantly. Stay At the Grand Bahia or if you want to be closer to the beach the Anbar or Diamond areas. You won't be disappointed and we asked alot of people we met.

I'm going to break this down in a few parts: Food: Very good to excellent. The myths and horror stories i heard about all-inclusive food were dispelled by this place. the meals at restaurants were fantastic and the buffet meals were great, too. The water at restaurants was also good. Rooms: Very neat and clean. No bugs or problems other than the occasional mosquito. Beds were hard, tho. Pools: Amazing. They had all sorts of activities for kids and adults (not really for mid-20s vacationers like myself). The swim-up bars were great, the pools were clean. Service: Very good all around by everyone. Didn't have any complaints here other than the front desk people being very slow and somewhat rude during check-in, but not really a problem. Waiters remembered us and even took time to remember our drinks when they tended bar. Beach: Pristine and always clean. Get there early if you want to get a good seat. Nightlife: Casino, karaoke bar and club will keep you busy. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 for satisfaction. It was relaxing and the closest thing to paradise I've ever seen.

Try to acquaint yourself with the entire place on the first day. it's very big and you can walk or take trams around the facility. main tip: schedule your restaurant reservations on your first or second day and have them done in advance.

Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana
Lovely resort. clean, first-rate accomodations and priced right. We were upgraded to Ambar section and thoroughly enjoyed the adults-only resort. Beach was clean and in the adults only section we weren't crowded. Food was good. would have tride more of the restaurants if we had more time. We were placed in a handicap room and unfortunately we did not get a bathtub. The shower ran all over the bathroom.

Good times
Everything was very good. The food at the buffet was all you really needed, however, the TexMex restaurant was great. The grounds were very well kept. No garbage or litter anywhere. We were there for 8 days and it went fast! The only thing that we didn't expect is that it was so big. We have stayed at smaller resorts and like those better, but can't complain at all about this place. It was beautiful!!

Great for families and couples
Hotel was overbooked and we were offered 2 nights at the Majestic next door. The hotel was top rate!!!

Dining facilities were great. Book your ala carte restaurants as soon as you get there. We were offered late hour and had to push to get the 7:00. Even though they were booked at the early hour, there were many tables available.
