Call the hotel for transportation from the airport to the Dreams resorts... costs 70 bucks but well worth it...

Excellent Staff
This is a good choice for a reasonably priced all-inclusive. Our room showed some age, but was clean and well maintained. The grounds and pool were also maintained. The restaurants and bars were not 5-star quality, but were very good. We especially liked the Italian restaurant and the Japanese steakhouse. However, what made this place rate higher than 3 for me was the staff. They are available, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The entertainment put on by the staff was also better than expected.

Dreams more like nightmare
Upon our arrival the male lobby the staff was not polite. Our first room was about a half a mile away from the beach Some of the plugs in the room and the bathroom was not working. We then upgraded to the preferred room In which half the plugs were not working inside the room bill and everywhere in the bathroom door was broken. There was about five power outages and no storm. Most of the female staff were nice but a smile doesn't fix everything. We ordered room service all the menus were out of date didn't have anything on the menu. My fiancé saw a cockroach in the restaurant by the water We told the staff and they laughed about it. Do not recommend this hotel at all.

Loved it!
Enjoyed this hotel greatly! I was staying at this resort because I was a guest at a wedding at the resort. Everything during our stay was perfect. Our room faced the garden and was quiet, the food selection was good, the staff very friendly. The only aspect that could have been improved is that the pool closes at 6pm and I find that this is pretty early. I would have been great to have the pool area available in the evenings.

NIce place Great Staff Exellent Food!!!!
We were guests @ Dreams from Oct 23rd to the 28th The end of Hurricane Sandy!! Managed a few nice days during the stay. Perferred club well worth the money as is the upgrade to a Jr. Suite!! Every resteraunt was clean and the food was excellent!! Staff couldnt be nicer and more helpful! The not so good was the hotel is about 50 mins.away from airport, there are ,some rocks in the water at some areas of the beach, and STAY AWAY from the people asking you to see a new hotel and offering you gifts. Our man lied right to our faces and we found it was a vacation club NOT a NEW HOTEL. 2 1/2 hrs and we left early. Dont do it!!!! Everything else was GREAT!!!!

Good time
The resort is impeccable. Beautiful grounds, nice, comfortable rooms. It's very humid, and they do have a/c in rooms. Was not impressed with the food...has room for improvement, but was not terrible. I definitely still ate my fair share! I've just had better. Fruit was amazing. Also, the "showtimes" were very amateur. Casino is small and old machines. Not much of a nightife, but maybe we went during slow season? Overall, biggest plus: the pool, beach, water activiites.

it's simple!
i dont want to go that place anymore. i went to punta cana 2years ago. i stayed riu palace punta cana hotel. it was very nice location and nice condition at hotel. food was good and staff was nice and kind. my friend was search for hotel and 20 people went together. but we disappointed at hotel. location was bad. beach is so dirty and small. so everybody was in the pool. anyway i dont want to go there anymore.
