Barcelo Punta Cana - All Inclusive

The hotal has great potential but there are many issues that need to be resolved. For example, the disco eventhough has non-smoking sign people smoke and the security guards allow it. the music is terrible. The foods is almost the same everyday. Since they have about six bars, they should designate area specially for people who do not smoke and have children with them.

Great value for your money Dining options-you can find something that you like. The Japanese restaurant was very good. Pool and beach-very clean and enjoyable Room-I was in building three and had no problems. Room was very nice. I tipped and was always suprised at the gestures that the maid made to thank me.

The Barcelo Punta Cana was nice and a good value for the money. The staff at the guest services desk were very attentive and helpful when checking in and out of the hotel and also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and best places for tourists to visit. A++++ Service! The rooms are okay and could use a little maintenance, but the balconies are a nice touch and provide an okay view of the ocean. The beach is a must see and was very beautiful to walk along and very relaxing. The resort offers many activities for both children and adults, day and night, so you won't be bored. The location of the resort is far from the city, but we traveled to Higuey and I highly recommend taking a trip there to explore the everyday life in the DR. This was my second time to the DR and I can't wait to visit again, it's such a beautiful place!!!!

This is the perfect hotel if you and the family are fond of Disney world. There is a little plushness, nice stone walkways, and activities throughout the day. The colors are bright and there are even photographers for you. It seems a better visit during off season when there are not as many visitors.

Some of the food was less than spectacular, but the rest of the stay was fantastic! An excellent value for the money. Nice property, great beach, good service, friendly staff. Highly reccomended.

Overall, my stay at Barcelo Premium was nice. If all you want to do is lay out in the sun, this is a good place for you. The two pools were amazing and the beach was very clean. The swim up bar was a lot of fun and I loved the fact that there was a buffet and another bar outside- it was very convenient. There were plenty of lounge chairs at the beach, but you had to wake up early and claim one around the pool because those filled up quick. The buffet food was not good and neither was the French restaurant. The Dominican restaurant was my favorite, it was delicious! The wait for my room during check-in was long because my room was not ready. Our room had an amazing ocean view, but it was above the buffet so you can hear the clinking of glasses and utensils early in the morning and throuout the day. Houskeeping was not very good. They forgot to give us towels one day and we had to wait a while before it arrived. We also had some mosquetos in our room, but I guess you have to expect that in the Carribean.

The food was great. Better than most places. Great variety. Clean pool and clean beach area. They had a large lobby with lots of tables and chairs when the weather was bad. I would like to see more shaded areas.

Very wonderful beach, pool and location. Had a refurbished 'deluxe' room and it was very nice! Food was a bit drab but to be expected in the Dominican and not the usual American fare. Hotel was very clean and accommodating. For the price I paid, and even for a little more...I would go there again without hesitation! It was awesome!

Great hotel, has everything you need! The restaurants are fantastic, my girlfriend and I got to all of them except one the most popular one, and we loved all of them...the Italian one was the best overall but each place had a dish we liked the most. There are two very large pools plus a kids area with multiple slides, the two pools were vert nice, one with a swim up bar and music and games all day and another one that was quite and no noise really at all. The location you can't beat you surrounded by whatever you need, plus the beach is breath taking. The only thing we found hard at times was the language barrier with some of the staff as we only speak English and most of the staff speaks Spanish, however everyone was overally friendly and a simple tip to them and they love you even more!! One bar tender we tipped 5$ one night because we drank for a bit with him, and he remembered us 3 days later when we went back and loved and took care of us again all night. They were all very friendly, liked I said amazing resort had a blast!!!
