Luperon Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Hotel, location, food, activities....horrible!!!! I regret I didn't read reviews before we went on that vacation:( The worse vacation ever!!!!! I feel sooooo sorry for anyone who ever gonna go there:( We go on a lot of all inclusive vacation and I don't even have a words to describe how bad that place is... Please...don't go there!!!!!!

My sister and I spent five days at the Luperon Beach Resort and I have nothing bad to say about it. From day 1 the staff were very friendly and helpful. I left a bag in our taxi when we arrived and the staff at the front desk helped me get it back. All the bar staff were friendly and helpful. Being physical challenged the staff offered to carry drinks to tables for me. They only have one buffet restaurant and two bbq pits but the food was excellent and the nightly entertainment was fun. The performers interacted with the guests, getting them dancing each night. Most of the staff spoke English so communication was never a problem. The resort was clean, the weather was beautiful. I would highly recommend this resort.

Food was good, rooms were a little dated but all inclusive shouldn't be in the room anyway. Beaches were very clean, the vendors get kind of annoying but there are spots where they won't bother you. I'd definitely recommend it as a relaxing trip.

it's about an hour and a half away from the airport. food wasn't that great. hospitality needs improvement. the towels were dingy. nothing to do outside of the resort. it gets boring fast after a couple of days. other resorts close by were closed and abandoned. i wouldn't recommend this resort.

My boyfriend and I went for a week in August, we LOVED the beach- the water was beautiful, warm, and clear, but some areas did have rocks. For the most part, no one was ever on it except on week ends the locals would come to the resort and some week days they would hang out at on the beach. They never bothered anyone, but it did get more crowded. Yet, on other days it was at though we were the only people there and had our own private beach. The location was great and the city is very safe. We took a cab into town to eat at Captain Steve's. The cab ride there and back was $10, and all you did was tell the driver what time to come back and get you. You could feel the breeze at the restaurant and the prices were great, food too! Sadly, some nights at the resort the buffet food was awful- just make sure to make the reservations for their specialty dinner nights, the food was better and atmosphere was romantic and more comfortable-air conditioned too. The rooms were plain and outdated, our phone, TV remote, and fridge didn't work, but we didn't spend much time in the room. Overall, I would go back.

Fine. Friendly. Negative-the vendors are rude. Also the seller of vacation packages, but they don't belong to the resort. Also there isn't no one coffee esspresso machine and all coffee is McDonalds style.

The location is far away from the main city, but was perfect for me. it was exactly what I wanted.

I just came back from D.R 09/2009. Its was ok. I did read the reviews on here before I went and everything they say is true. The place is very old and there isnt much to do. I LOVED the food it was great, the locals do get there on the weekend and they are very RUDE! Its okay for a cheap get away. but keep in mind its 100.00 us dollars for the taxi ride from Puerto Plata to Luperon. We also got there early and they charged us an extra 20.00 if we anted to check in at 12.... the liquor is god awful and water down!
