Good location to enjoy area
The hotel was just out of town, well a 5-10 minute walk, which was a benefit as away from the hussle and bustle on town, but close enough to stroll there (nice walk along the beach). No lights on the street in the evening so have to be careful traffic wise but not a deterrant. Taxis available but personally prefer the stroll. The rooms are large, probably a little dated but nice enough. Well equipped for those who feel the need to cook or such, a wine bottle opener was sufficient for our needs. Big downside on the room was the bed, very hard and not comfortablue. Good breakfast included and overall good value.

Short walk from hotel
PacoMer, Little sea food shack on the beach. Does not look much at all but great seafood, not suprising seeing that this is where the fish come in. Great view, feet in the sand with bottle of wine on the beach with superb fresh seafood well recommended. Don't let the look put you off this is a must try place in town.

Great location, nice beach; nice pool; little bar; restaurant - all for a very reasonable price! Only concern was the AC: rite on your face, in front/top of the bed! Either you turn it off or you freeze... Try to get a room with a different AC LOCATION!

WALK DOWN THE NARROW, NICE BEACH ROAD IN FRONT AND TRY A DIFFERENT CAFE, BAR OR RESTAURANT EACH NITE: THERE ARE COUPLE OF NICE OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM - AND THEY ARE ALL RITE ON THE WATER...

friendly professional- casual- great service- roomy apt. - breakfast was really nice- great bar and rest. great area... you cant do better in Las Terrenas
