Modern, Clean, and Close to the Heart of Copenhagen!
This hotel has a very modern, and clean ambiance. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even allowed me to check in 7 hours before the 3pm check-in time. The breakfast buffet was reasonably diversified and tasty. The only criticism I have is the modest size of the room and the so-so look of the bathroom.

Nice but Noisy
Probably the nicest of all the hotels on our recent holiday, it's only drawback is street noise, mostly human. It was a Saturday that was worst, lots of drunken pedestrians walking by till very late. The A/C is not very cold, so windows must be open...Nice big room!

Very expensive for what you get
This is a pricey hotel - so a room bigger than a shoe box would have been more worthy of the price tag.

Ideal location - hotel met expectations
The hotel is in an idea location just a block from the train station, a couple blocks from Tivoli Gardens (highly recommended), a short walk to the shopping district, and there's plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. Hotels in the Scandic chain combine simple Scandinavian design with some upscale features that result in a great value and reliably good accommodations, but don't expect luxury. What you can expect are clean well appointed rooms, reliable and free wireless Internet and a vast breakfast buffet (included in all rates). There are two public access computers and nice play area for kids that includes a television video game console. The staff was helpful and accommodating, but there's not full service concierge, so don't expect someone who knows the town inside and out like the concierges at the nearby Radisson Royal Blu. This Scandic is a step up from many others that I've stayed at. Extra pillows, hand lotion, a hair dryer and flat screen television were among the amenities that I didn't see at other Scandic properties. While there's no full service restaurant on-site, there are plenty within just a block or two, and the hotel does have Cube, a lively upscale bar that is open nightly except Sundays. Rooms on one side look down toward a gentleman's club that is across the street, which is not surprising since Copenhagen's Red Light District begins just a block behind the hotel. Don't let this deter or scare you. The Red Light District is relatively small and despite the appearance is 100% safe.

Entertainment tip:
Short walk from hotel
Tivoli Gardens is a great place that is less than a five minute walk. It's not your typical amusement park. Rather, it's a cultural center with live performances, including some from top name entertainers. It's also home to some fantastic dining options, including two Michelin rated restaurants. In particular, I recommend Grofton.

I stayed in a single room on g
I stayed in a single room on groundfloor and in the evening and morning the guests and staff smoked outside the window, bad when tne window is open . A none smoking room became one. The bedroom itself was as big as the shower room. Despite this it was a very nice hotel.

Excellent Location at a very good price!
Perfect location at a fare price. Walking distance to most major attractions with good restaurants also close by. Breakfest included which was a big plus. Most European are small by US standards, but this room was more than adequate and clean!

Good location,clean,& reasonable rates
Small rooms, but very clean. Nice atmosphere, and the bar "Cube" was very relaxing. Good restaurant right on the next corner, and within walking distance of Tivoli Gardens. The front desk associates were very welcoming.
