Great location, what you would expect from a Radisson

Covenientky located right across from Tivoli Gardens and the central train station. But there is a lot of construction around the area. One of the elevators in the hotel was being worked on so often a wait for the elevators. The concierge staff was very helpful but the rest of the staff was "typically Danish" and not always helpful. Beware that when you don't book directly with the hotel, you don't have as much control over your requests. We requested a crib and a king bed and they caused a big fuss and said they didn't know if they could accomodate us or fit a crib.

Great location and well appointed and comfortable hotel

Had a great 4 night stay at this very central hotel, with spectacular view overlooking the city across to Sweden. Nice to be in a well designed room, with good accoustics and the little touches that make a difference. Worth the money.

Perfect weekend getaway

Even though I arrived early (8:30am), I was allowed to check in without any issues. This was great considering I had just gotten off a transatlantic flight. Service was excellent all around and the location couldn't be better!

fantastic hotel in Copenhagen

We arrived early and they allowed us to store our luggage and visit the city. The location could not be better!! We looked out our window to the train station and to Tivoli. The site seeing "Hop on - Hop Off" bus was within 50 feet of the hotel. When we departed they allowed us a late check out time which worked perfect with our travel plans.

Location: Great - Price: Not so great

The Raddison Blu SAS Royal hotel in Copenhagen is centrally located. This is its main attraction. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but this is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are small sized and the carpeting and chairs look old and had stain marks on them. The beds were too low and much too soft for a comfortable night's sleep. The staff was very nice and the bellman provided excellent service. Rooms in the upper part of the hotel give a good view of the surrounding area, including nearby Tivoli Gardens. The hotel's food prices are outrageous. We did not eat at the hotel. If I ever plan to stay in Copenhagen again, I would stay at a less expensive hotel.

Great Hotel

This hotel was great! The concierge was extremely helpful and knowledgeable,as well as the front desk people. The single room was compact but very comfortable. Location was excellent as it was across the street from Tivoli Gardens, very near the train station, and outside you could find the HOHO bus to see the sights. I would definitely stay here again.

Terrific location for tourist

Great location for access to transportation to visit top tourist sites. Also two short blocks to main train station to the airport. Change currency at the main train station.

Wonderful location

We came to Copenhagen on vacation. The hotel was in a perfect location, across from the central train station, Tivoli Gardens and the tourist center. In spite of the central location, it was a very pleasant area to walk. Our hotel room was very clean and everything worked perfectly. At first we were slightly put off by the design of the hotel, Danish Modern. However, it grew on us and by the time we checked out, we agreed this was a good selection for us. The hotel was very quiet and the concierge was helpful. There was some outside noise in the morning rush hour but not excessive.

Anderson's Bakery has a wonderful brunch. Be aware that all food in Copenhagen is very expensive.
