Perfect Stay In Copenhagen
Although they don't really take requests they still honored one we had ahead of time. The room was perfect, we had one of the round front corner suites. Also this hotel is in a neighborhood close to everything, public transportation, bikes, etc. They don't tell you but there is a wonderful 7-day a week farmers market two blocks away and a variety of great restaurants within walking distance (the italian one in the hotel is very good). The gym you can use at their sister hotel across the back yard is a let down, so plan on using another local gym. The staff is top notch though and very gracious and helpful.

WINTER BREAK IN DENMARK
City centre and many attractions within reasonable walking distance. Some rooms are small, but perfectly adequate, but a few had very small bathrooms. A slightly expensive breakfast was well worth it (eat as much as you like): set you up for the day and did not need to eat again until the evening. Metro within walking distance for transport to and from airport and attractions further afield. A good choice for our weekend break.

Great location; clean and comfortable
Stayed for three night over New Year's and had a great time. Ours was a very small room, but perfectly decent and clean, and great value. I imagine it can get a little noisy from street noise, so perhaps request a room facing the court yard and/or fairly high up.

NIce base for first visit
Staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful...even supplied umbrellas for us on rainy day. Location is good for a first visit to Copenhagen. Most key tourist sites within easy walking distance. Be sure to take the canal ride. Room is typical European, i.e. small, but nice.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Don't buy the hotel breakfast...too expensive for what you get. Opt for short walk (about a block) to a food center that has great bakery, coffee, butcher shops, cheeses, etc. Note that food is generally expensive in Copenhagen.

Had a reservation for a Triple
Had a reservation for a Triple Room. On arrival, the room which was provided was a Double with a third bed in the entrance of room - couldn't move or open the suitcase ! Complained at the reception and they promised to move to a real and bigger Triple Room the following day. After further discussion, we were given a Single Room for my son and removed the third bed - without additional charge. Finally, the Triple room was not available the following day either and we suggested to keep the Double and Single rooms at the same price. The Hotel accepted and it ended-up being a good deal for everybody. Rooms are nice, quiet and clean, breakfast reasonably good (included in the price) and the hotel Restaurant serves very good Italian food at reasonable price for Copenfague. Excellent location ! Parking is expensive in the city. I do recommend this hotel especially for couples travelling alone or with young adults.

Staff are extremely helpful. They have us great directions to all the sites we wanted to visit as well as great dinner suggesetions. Room is small but clean and the bed is very comfortable. Also on Sunday there is a late checkout- 6pm! Very useful. Overall good stay and good base for a economical weekend drip in Copenhagen.

Good location, helpfull staff, clean bed linen, great restaurant. The only complaint is that it is always hard to reservate a table to lunch or dinner, maybe due to the fashion week. Cheers!

Copenhagen Trip
The Ibsens hotel is in a great location. Easy to get around on foot to many sights. The room was small but clean. The most interesting thing about the room was the bathroom. It was the size of a closet and included a toilet in one corner, a small sink in another, and a shower head in another. It worked. Breakfast was included and very good. Staff was friendly I would recomend the hotel for those looking for a clean place to stay at a resonable price.
