Great experience
I stayed in a private room. The room had 2 beds which were small, but comfortable! There was a small table, a full sized mirror, and a small coat and clothes rack. The shower surprised us a little, since it sprays right onto the bathroom floor. It wasn't a problem, and the temperature and pressure was perfectly fine too. The hostel is very ideally located, too. It is a short walk to the Nørreport station or Kongens Nytorv station, which can take you basically anywhere you need to go. You are also within walking distance to a lot of sightseeing spots, like the Strøget shopping area, Amalienborg and Rosenborg castles, and Nyhavn. The hostel staff was friendly and helpful. The elevators are very small, so there can sometimes be a long wait to use them. If your luggage aren't too heavy, it's probably better to carry them on the stairs. Breakfast buffet was 55DKK (about 11 euros?), and very good. There were meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, yogurts, teas, juices, etc. It's also a big time saver, since you can get on with your day without having to search for a place to eat out. The hostel seems to cater to a youthful clientele, but there were older travelers and families as well. I never encountered any problems with noisy or rude guests. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Copenhagen.

The laundry facilities cost 25DKK for the washer and 25DKK for the dryer. If you need to buy laundry soap, it's a further 25DKK to buy from the hostel. So, one round of laundry can be a bit costly!

Good value for money
Not bad for a 3 night stay, though I barely got any sleep. My room was literally above the bar, and they pump out tunes until about 3 or so (plus karaoke on Tuesday night). I'd recomend it for a brief stay if you're the partying type. Since I was in for seriuos sightseeing and needed the sleep I'd definately request a different room next time round. Bonus: cheery staff and friendly banter!

Great location, friendly staff, very cheap
Two tips for new visitors to the hostel: 1. Bring your own towel. You can buy it for around $10, but why? 2. Bring your own padlock. You can store your luggage in the room, but you need your own lock and key. Of course, you can buy it for $5 at the front desk. 3. You cannot bring outside food. You can bring in bread, fruits etc to your room, though. There is a walking tour that starts at 10:30AM at the hostel. It is free and good. Take it! Btw. bring your own soap and shampoo. (I generally use hotels -- so all this was new to me).

Short walk from hotel
In front of Norreport (north station), there is a grocery store that is cheap and good. You can buy your water, bread, cheese there quite cheap. You don't need to buy daily pass for the metro/train. All the places are walking distance anyway.

quite good
It's a perfect choice for just 10 bucks a day. Staffs were really kind and helpful, when I had a reservation I had slight doubt however it's proven unneeded. I'd go for another generator hostel located in somewhere else.

Excellent wheelchair accessible hostel
We were looking for a wheelchair accessible hostel in Copenhagen near downtown. This hostel was perfect. I also called ahead to see if they had an accessible room and was quoted a price much higher than online so I booked online then called back to secure the accessible room. There is an elevator and the room has an accessible bathroom in it which is very spacious.

Great hostel
Stayed in a 6 person co-ed room with a friend of mine. Hostel location is amazing, right in the center of copenhagen and walking distance from everything. The hostel has a big bar though it seemed expensive, but there were always lots of people drinking there at night. There is also breakfast but it's 56kroner which also seemed quite pricey. I would recommend getting snacks around the corner at the grocery store instead Room was clean, bed was comfy, and the private bathroom in the room was a huge plus. I recommend this hostel

Good budget option
This is a nice budget option for central Copenhagen. It is well located near the Metro stop and wasn't too hard to find. Check-in was a little slow, but they had just opened so I think they were still working out the bugs. The room was tiny but it had all we needed (private room with two twin beds). Everything was very clean. Overall, very satisfied.

Fantastic on every account
This was the best place to stay in Copenhagen. Not a far walk from any of the sights & places to see. We arrived around 6:00 tired from our day of traveling... check in was super easy and when we got to our room it was super clean & they had provided towels and bedsheets at no extra charge. We decided to check out the bar downstairs & we were able to mix and mingle with lots of other travel -goers while sitting in a relaxing cozy atmosphere. We had had the worst experience with a hostel previous to this & for a hostel this one is right on track with some of the "5 star" hotels I have stayed in. The staff was super friendly and helpful whenever we had a question, and even let us check in & print out our boarding passes for our flight when we had to leave! Honestly the best experience I have had with a hostel ... I would stay here a million times over & will definitely recommend this to anyone!

This hostel is practically in the middle of everything! A short walk from the metro and everything you plan to do in Copenhagen is a quick walk away from this hostel!

a new low in hostelling?
Great location, nice rooms, but--they have no self-service kitchens, no fridges for people to keep their own food in; they will not allow you to eat your own food along with the pathetic breakfast (buns and cereal) that you pay over USD10 for; and the "free wireless" they advertise on their website ONLY works on the restaurant floor, not in the rooms. Come here for the location--there's nothing else here!

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
The longest shopping street in Copenhagen is a few blocks away.
