This hotel has a 4 star? When I think of 4-star I think of some of the higher end names. This is really a 3 and a half star. Clean, comfortable, Scandinavian but not luxury by any means. The price was right we paid $150 for two double standard
rooms and they were clean and comfortable. But there is no mini bar and though there were small toiletries, there wasn't even a wine bottle opener I had to take my bottle down to the bar so the bartender could open it. The restaurant was surprisingly tasty, I was rather hungry though. The best part to me were the staff, very cool, helpful and had great senses of humor. Location just a couple blocks from the main train station and within walking to lots of shopping, bars, etc. Would stay here again!
The hotel was perfect for the price. Location was awesome. Within a 15 min walk to almost all the attractions. Definitely check out the Ice Bar which is right next door (there's a10% discount for hotel guests). Also make time for the National
Museum right across the street. Our room was small, but didn't feel cramped at all because the design makes such good use of space. Everything looked pretty clean and the shower was great.
I stayed here for three nights and loved it! The room was very clean and comfortable. It was in a perfect location. Walking distance to central train station and tivoli gardens. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. They recommended a lical
Danish restaurant which was fantastic! I highly recommend staying here and would stay here again!
Location is fabulous, walk distance from the Metro and Tivoli Park. It is next door to The Ice bar and many other restaurant and Shopping. Good breakfast.
Staff need to some costumer and people skills; they act like they are doing a favor to let
the guest stay there.
An excellent location A small room, but expected in a central hotel at a good price. Reception small and shortstaffed - nearly always a queue.
Room heavily designed but not functional.
Nice recessed lights in the bathroom - but not
near the mirror/sink. Large cupboards - but 20 cms deep, meaning only suitable for underwear. If using the clip hangers unable to close wardrobe door.
Nice flatscreen TV - but prevented opening of one of the cupboards (TV did not work on arrival, Thurs. Finally fixed Sunday, after 4 requests)
The hotel was good. The room was functional. The looks were modernistic but plain. Beds were okay, slept fairly well. A bit noisy in the morning outside, but not a big issue. Room and bathroom was clean. Had a TV romote that was missing a battery,
called reception and went down to get batteries. No big deal.
Cozy boutique hotel in the heart of Copenhagen, good for business travel or adults on vacation
This comfortable, contemporary boutique hotel on a charming side street is a pleasant walk to anything one wants to see in central Copenhagen, including lovely old town squares with cafes and live music, new art at the Kunsthal Charlottenborg and
Nicolaj ICA (a former church turned art space which also has a very good restaurant), and ancient through 19th-century art at the magnificent Ny Carlsberg Glyptothek and the National Gallery. The hotel rooms facing the Ice Bar can be a bit noisy, so if looking for quiet you can ask for something on the other side of the building. Overall good value for money in an expensive city.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Excellent coffee and baked goods at Emery's, which has several locations in Copenhagen, one less than a block from Hotel 27.
