First Hotel Osterport Copenhagen

I would certainly recommend this hotel to everybody visiting Denmark. It's such a lovely and convenient place. walking distance to train staion, 2 stops from city centre and major attractions. cosy and nice rooms.

The hotel sits right on the railway tracks and trains come and go every 2-3 minutes including nights. than makes it next to impossible to sleep or rest.

The hotel was great value for money, the rooms were clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. The location was excellent, across from Osterport station, direct train to/from the airport and 5 mins from central copenhagen, would use this hotel if I visit Copenhagen again.

Despite not having received our booking from the online travel agent we were allocated a room without question and which was adequate for our purposes. Clean comfortable and a good breakfast available. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Across the road from the train station and on the main bus route but also within walking distance of centre. Were warned of noise from train but did not affect us. Would recommend.

We loved Copenhagen and the hotel was conveniently located right next to the commuter train station at Osterpoort. The problem is that half the rooms overlook the train tracks and it is a very busy route so is quite noisy. We switched to the other side of the hotel and it was acceptable.

Orbitz advertised 2 rates; it appears that the higher rate is for rooms in the back of the hotel which are NOT just a few feet from the trains. Thus the room was relatively quiet. Breakfast was not included, but the hotel charged for breakfast separately (without my consent). the rooms were small, but conveniently appointed except that there is not a tea pot/coffeemaker in the room. There is free coffee and tea in the Lobby at all hours.

Hotelli oli positiivinen yllätys siihen mitä odotimme. Huone oli tilava ja siisti. Huone sijaitsi junaraiteiden vieressä ja vaikka junien äänet kuuluivat huoneeseen ei se haitannut. Ilmainen wifi yhteys oli huoneessa huono.

Juna-asema oli vastapäätä hotellia joka helpotti kulkemista. Junan ääni kuului hotelli huoneeseen. Hotelli pitkulan mallinen joten kävely matka aulasta hotelli huoneeseen saattaa olla pitkä mikäli huone sijaitsee hotellin rakennuksen perällä.
