We are located in the old inner part of the Copenhagen downtown and City Hall. Our location is very close to Copenhagen's attractions such as nightclubs, Stroget, restaurants, theatres and Tivoli, the harbour bath, the National Museum and the Christiansborg Palace. The distance to Freetown Christiania and The Little Mermaid is not long.
With convenient public transport just outside our steps, you're close to everything in both Copenhagen and the rest of Denmark.
We have furnished CPH Downtown after an idea of modern and relaxed Scandinavian atmosphere. Our lounge is the ideal place to hang out and be with other guests.
Use our exchange book service, and if you are willing to be part of a more liquid entertainment, go to one of the inner city's cheapest bars right in our lounge - while you entertain yourself with pool, table football or darts with one of your (new) friends. Slot tournaments are arranged together with Happy Hour . We lend our notebooks free for HI card holders, and use of WIFI is always free.
CPH Downtown has 75 rooms and we can accommodate any budget, from private rooms for 2-5 guests or open offices for 4-10 guests. Many rooms have private bathroom with sink and mirror, and there are always electrical outlets, seating area and personal reading lights.
All private rooms have view to Vandkunsten with a fountain from 1910 - a little oasis...
Our caf offers a breakfast buffet at favourable prices. Alternatively, you can make your own food in our new guest kitchen.

- Conveniently located right next to Norreport station which is the metro station with metros running directly to Copenhagen Airport on only 12 minutes. The metro and S-tog station Norreport is only 700 meter from the CPH Downtown which gives easy access to the whole of Copenhagen and the rest of Denmark. From Copenhagen Airport: take the metro to station Norreport, cross the street and go down Norregade - Nytorv - Radhustrade (all same street). CPH Downtown is located in the square opposite the fountain. Instead of walking you take bus 14 (heading Jydeholmen/lekistevej ) from Norreport metro station for 3 stops- same ticket as used in the metro.
