Stay on the Executive Floor at Copenhage

Stayed on the Executive Level(11th floor)which meant(previously unbeknowned to me) that we were included in the executive meals, snacks, desserts, alcohol(and all drink beverages offered) throughout my stay in Copenhagen(3.5 days), provided at no extra charge. This served to defray considerable costs as this is a most expensive city/country. Room was beautiful, of course, overlooking the river and Christianhaven( I believe). Room service and amenities were "top drawyer,"[...]The only drawback to the Marriott is the check-in time which is 4pm. We arrived at noon. Most hotels allow one in to a room at least by 2pm! Therefore, I will not give this hotel the top rating due to this. I do have to say, that we were given the key to that Executive room with all of the amenities I have earlier described and would have been most comfortable, well fed and well drunk by 4PM but I did not fully comprehend this being the "peasant" that I am, and never took advantage of this. If someone reading this has the opportunity to stay on the 11th floor and is offered the executive key to the executive club, please do not make the mistake of remaining in the main hotel lobby while waiting for your room to be readied!!! Great hotel, great location to walk to Tivoli, Christainhavn, to all pertinant areas to get tour busses to Sweden tour, Hamlet Castle tours, etc. and not that far from the Airport

I had unresolved issues with this hotel

Physically, this hotel is quite nice. You might describe it as classy, polished, almost elegant. The staff was very professional and the room was comfortably large. I loved the beds. My problem was with the included breakfast. The rate I booked was a Special Rate which included breakfast for 2. When I checked in the desk clerk said breakfast was NOT included. [...] I paid for breakfast, but it was not provided to me. The wifi was shockingly expensive, $30 a day! I will never again stay at a hotel that does not provide free internet. There was also something odd going on with the toilet, it would drain all the way down by itself, and then fill way up, and gurgle, all by itself. We asked the hotel to take a look at it. I don't know if they did, but it acted the same the whole time. It also smelled quite bad when it was flushed.

Not 5* but nice

Disappointing experience here, says it is 5* or high 4* but has no kettle in room, you have to pay for 5 min use of internet and request bathrobes and slippers. I would expect a hotel of this so called class to provide this service not a service like a budget hotel. Rooms very nice and restaurent has good food and was good value for money (althrough dont have tea - a disgraceful price of 90K - I did complain and they refunded me). Rooms pleasant although maybe slightly dated, nice views (if you have a river view) and good location for all sights.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Tivoli Gardens is just a short walk from the hotel. It is a must in the daytime, but also at night when the thousands of lights turn it into fairyland!

Copenhagen Marriott is convenient

The Marriott Copenhagen is in a convenient location. It is close to the Central Train Central (10-15 minute walk) and the Town Center (a 15 minute walk) where many of the tours begin. It is also right on the water so you can begin a harbor tour right at the hotel.
