Nice place for the single traveller
The Taurus Hotel is a pretty nice place if traveling is your primary objective. The good news is the price was outstanding. The price also included an above average breakfast and free wi-fi. The staff spoke exceptional english and were more helpful than your average American Hampton Inn. The mediocre news is that the rooms are..... creepy and a bit old. They also have cots lining the halls which was strange. The bad news is that the walls are very thin. I could hear quiet conversations next door. Additionally, it is a pretty good hike from the train station. But, if you are confident with exploring metros and public transit, it should not pose much of a problem. Decent sites around the place, but it is not walking distance from the Astrological Clock, bridge, or palace. As a single guy who just wanted to see Prague, it was ideal. Not too pricey and close enough to the sights for someone who doesn't have a family to herd. I would recommend it!
