Average hotel
You get what you pay for with this hotel. That's not to say that it's a bad hotel, but it certainly isn't anything exceptional either. The location is fine. It's a short tram ride to the city center and the tram stop is right outside the hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Everyone at the front desk spoke English and was very willing to help me with whatever I needed and very patiently answered all my questions. The hotel is located on a very busy main street so there was constant traffic noise, but that didn't bother me too much. I would suggest earplugs for sleeping though. The room itself was very spartan but clean. There was no phone or alarm clock so be sure to take a travel alarm if you need to get up at a certain time. The pillow was very, very thin and the bed was hard. It was just a very basic, minimal hotel room. But I didn't go to Prague to stay in my hotel. I just needed a place to sleep and this fit the bill.

Not bad for the price
Price is great, but small room three floors up without a lift. Public transportation is just a few steps from the hotel and runs frequently.

Several local eateries with ethnic food were available with short tram ride. Parking is a problem in center city and resteurants are pricy. Prague castle is a must to see and be sure to hire a guide to really get the best information.

hotel was as advertised. Very friendly and helpful staff. good location, about halfway between the airport and downtown. Very close to tram, providing easy and affordable transportation to Prague Castle, shops, restaurants, etc. Tram tickets available at the hotel front desk.
