SHOULD BE A 5 STAR HOTEL
The Green Garden Hotel was the best place I have ever stayed. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The morning breakfasts were superb. Ihave nothing negative to say about this place, only positive. If i ever get back to Prague, I will be staying there. My suggestion to anyone thinking of staying at the Green Garden, to not think about it, just do it. I am so thankful that i did.

Nice hotel. Good value.
Beautiful outside. The location is fine if you like to walk. It's about a 12 minute walk to Wenceslas Square. The closest Metro and Tram 22 are a little closer. We enjoyed the walking. The only other problem with the location is frequent police/fire sirens going by (none after 11:30PM or before 7:00AM while we were there). The rooms are well maintained, clean,and a nice size. Really like the picture shows. Has a minibar which we also used to keep a bit of food in too. Good shower pressure. Room amenities: a small TV, shampoo, soap, and a safe. Plenty for us. Also a computer with printer near the small reception area to use any time. The buffet breakfast was fantastic! Better than any American hotel! Coffee superb. There is a small bar by the entrance which you could use any time for a smoking lounge, and officially opened 10AM-11:30PM with Czech Budweiser(Budvar-NOT to be confused w/ American Bud) on tap. Special mention here for Joseph (aka "Peppa) and Jacub (aka "Cuba")---absolutely wonderful and friendly...the waiters double as breakfast staff and bartenders. The restaurant is beautiful and has a varied menu; however, we did not get a chance to eat there. I would definitely recommend this quaint hotel.

There are good restaurants about 3-5 blocks from hotel with outdoor seating and good prices. U Webru is very good. SKIP the eateries around Old Town and Wenceslas Square--way overpriced.

Quaintness in Prague
Want a place that isn't in the middle of all the hustle and bustle then Green Garden Hotel is the place. It offers a nice hotel in the "Old World" Atmosphere. Green Garden offered a good full breakfast buffet with our room. The room was clean and a decent size for a European hotel. The bathroom was updated and the room included a mini fridge with a room safe. It is close to Prague transportation which will take you anywhere in the city. Staff was friendly and willing to help.

Prague's transportation system is convenient and efficient. You can take the Metro, subway, a tram (trolley) or bus all around the city. Excellent way to see all the top spots in Prague.

Decent, clean, overpriced
The hotel and the room particularly were smaller and simpler than I had expected based on the photos from the web. The hotel is very clean and the accessories provided are more than satisfactory. The breakfast has a decent variety of choices, even though it would be nice to change more from day-today (I stayed for several days there). The service was quick and satisfactory. However, as everywhere in Prague people are a kind of distant, not talkative and not polite - smth which is not a language but more of a culture issue. The second drawback that I personally think characterizes again Prague in general is that everything is overpriced. $120 per night for a single-bed bedroom are a lot for what I got. Nice features: free internet at room and at the lobby. Note that the hotel DOES not have a gym: the wellness center is just a sauna that you have to pay for.

Great Place!
This was my favorite hotel of a five week trip through central Europe. It met all my needs. Clean, safe, pleasant staff, free wireless, nice decor, comfortable, and good food. I can be pretty fussy, and i really liked this place.

Prague Trip
We stayed at Green Garden Hotel while visting Prague. The hotel provides excellent breakfast buffet style daily and the room is roomy and very clean. Their customer services staff is helpful but we wish they could be more friendlier. In addition, the hotel is just a few blocks from metro so it is very convenient to catch a train/metro/tram to go downtown.
