Luxury central Prague hotel captures elegance of a legendary past
The luxurious Hotel Esplanade is centrally located across the road from the Prague State Opera. The hotel has served as a prominent meeting place since 1927. Renovated in 2008, it combines modern-day luxury and convenience with the romance and elegance of its legendry past. Guests may dine on gourmet French cuisine in the hotel restaurant, or relax in the wood-paneled cafe or Est bar. - The best from our hotel. You will get all same as in standard room + bigger room, balcony, nice view etc... Deluxe single and double rooms are available. Size is single 19 m2 / 204 sq. ft and double 25 m2 / 270 sq. ft.

The bar offers a variety of drinks, cigars as well as light dishes. Open Tue-Sat 7p.m. to 2a.m.

- its interior is harmoniously decorated in marble and wood in the same style as in 1927. This cafe which is the heart of the hotel has always been the place to meet people of cultural and political significance.The quietly inviting and stylishly romantic atmosphere is enhanced by the tunes from the 1920. During the summer months the summer terrace is open. Open daily 6.30a.m. to 10.30p.m.
- The French Restaurant
- The glass chandellier of Italien Murano glass dominates this great room, patrolling the French restaurant from the beginning. The restaurant offers a quiet ambiance for a hearty breakfast, culinary valued dishes from French and Italian cuisine with regional nuances. Open daily 6.30a.m. to 10.00a.m., 12.00a.m. to 10p.m.

Well placed between the convention
Well placed between the convention centre and the old city and adjacent to a Metro Station on two lines. Helpful staff and good value. They have a good car and driver which are a little more expensive than a taxi but very convenient especially to travel to the airport

Senior traveler
Fabulous Location
Best location--3-minute walk from train station, 1 minute walk from Metro. Very helpful staff. Divine breakfast. Only downside is that the hotel has either heat or cool air, not both. We visited in May 2010, and it was warm, but the AC was not on. Since we paid $173/night, that wasn't good.

Esplanade in Prague
We loved Prague - and I'm sure in part it was because this hotel was so perfect. They helped us with every request, we were conveniently located for everything we wanted, and at every point in our stay we were satisfied with our experience!

Short walk from hotel
There is music everywhere in Prague and it is a very walkable city to most travelers. Take advantage of the many opportunities to hear music (or the marionette theatre) because it's such fun!!
