A taste of historical Prague with classic style

Deminka Palace is an iconic resting point for travellers to Prague. It offers the finest interior design with modern convenience and comfort, without clashing with the exterior of the hotel and surroundings. Hardwood floors and 1700s style door panels, blend with tastefully chosen wallpapers, desks and beds. The result is a spacious and warm hotel at a surprisingly affordable price. The restaurant at Deminka Palace rivals the best in the city, located in a gorgeous high ceilinged room and serving a range of fine Czech cuisine.

3 Reasons To Stay:
  • Experience Prague from a luxurious and established historical hotel
  • Enjoy the meeting of modern facilities and well-kept architecture from another era
  • Convenient location, with the National Museum just around the corner from the hotel
Deminka Palace Rooms

Top Italian designers have designed all Deminka Palace rooms to exacting standards. Real hardwood flooring is standard, along with wood paneled doors reminiscent of late 1700s period style. The large windows and subdued, light colors of the drapes and walls are offset by high quality dark wood furnishings, including chairs, beds, closets, dining tables, and desks. All sizes of room offer refrigerators, bath and shower, room service, full Internet access, a minibar, television and kitchenette. As a bonus, each room offers its own balcony. The chateau room comes with a choice of two singles or one double bed, covers two floors at the top of the Deminka Palace, and is fully equipped as a penthouse suite would be in other hotels. The king rooms are designed like apartments, with kitchen facilities and living room. Queen rooms are standard hotel rooms, and come with one single and one double bed. The suites provide full facilities similar to the chateau, but on a smaller scale. The suites also include a bow window, making these rooms perfect for those with a sophisticated taste.

  • Museum of Communism (0.8 mi/1.2 km)

Great experience

This is a wonderful old world hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, and contained a kitchenette which was perfect for small meals and snacks. The staff aimed to please. It was a pleasure and I would definitely recommend it. Please try the restaurant next door with the same name, very good. Other reviews mention the noise from the club downstairs. I rarely heard it.

Perfect stay!

We loved everyting about Deminka Palace! The juxtaposition of the beautifully classic hallways and staircases with the starkly modern simplicity of the apartment, the very nice breakfasts, the central location, but mostly the wonderful young men who were the evening (and sometimes daytime) concierges. Two young men particularly went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. They were friendly, knowledgeable and always impeccabley polite. This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in much more plush and expensive hotels for business. I would recommend Deminka Palace to everyone!

The Deminka Palace Hotel, Prague

This is a beautiful Czech hotel located close to Wenceslas Square and with easy access to many tram lines and two Metro Stations. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. They gave good advice when asked and seemed genuinely eager to please their guests. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety of tasty dishes and something for everyone's taste.....from salami and cheese platters to eggs to cereals and yogurt. The breakfast staff was very friendly and constantly made sure that there was plenty of food available. The rooms were very clean and had plenty of space. I would have liked a chair and desk as part of the room; there was plenty of space available for that. Having only the bed to sit on was not that comfortable. The hotel tends to be noisy: from the street traffic right outside to the reverberation of every footfall and voice because of the nature of the building. However, the guests seemed to be aware of this and tended to keep their voices down, especially in the later evening hours. Overall, I thought this was a good value for the money.

Get to know the tram lines! They are inexpensive and go all over the city and are a fun and convenient way to travel around Prague.

Fun trip to Prague

Overall I had a great stay here, but I do have a few complaints. The room and bathroom have plenty of space, but the shower is very small. I'm a big guy so it would have been nice to have had a bigger shower. The wi-fi did not reach my room. I stayed on the 4th floor. I had to use the guest computer in the lobby for internet. They need to get boosters for it. Room service is not 24/7.

Deminka Palace Hotel is a quiet

Deminka Palace Hotel is a quiet place, spacious rooms, situated close to the National Museum. Closest Metro station is I.P. Pavlova, connecting you to the city centre and all other places of interest. Breakfast buffet is quite good. Only negative rating for internet connectivity: its free, but doesn't work due to low signal. If you're lucky you may connect to unprotected networks, at your own risk of course....

Very good first impression of Prague!

First of all, the staff were very helpful and friendly! It was the best hotel we've been to during our 2-week trip in Europe with approximately the same price in 3 different hotels. Breakfast was satisfactory, the room was very luxurious and clean!!! Location is good, very close to Metro :)
