Superb location
Acc-Nifos Metamorphis Hotel in Prague has a superb location tucked away nicely in a courtyard just few hundred yards from Old Town Square. Despite this proximity its nice Italian restaurant with outside seating is free from the hustle-bustle of the more tourity places that decorate the main square. It also has its own cellar where the breakfast is served. It is a boutique hotel in a refurbished old house. We got a room under the roof that was nicely and freshly decorated with new furniture but in classic style. It was small and a bit cramped (because of the beams) but charming and spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Short walk from hotel
There are literally hundreds of restaurants within walking distance. Most of these a very touristy and fairly expensive. It is worth asking around taking a longer walk to find a more authentic local hangout with good beer and cheap but good food.

A great find!
Having never been to Prague before and not knowing the city...I was very fortunate to come across the Metamorphis Hotel! The location couldn't have been better for a tourist such as myself...very close to old town square but with our own private square! The staff was very helpful, the rooms were very nice, clean, quaint, and we even had own own courtyard! I would certainly stay there again if we ever go back and would highly recommend it to any of my family or friends!

Old Town Square and the Charles Bridge is a very short..1/2 block away...where you will find restaurants, tourist attractions, shops, museums, the tourist office....everything you want!
