This hotel is excellent for individuals and small groups and has a great restaurant very popular with the locals.
AK 08/10 The building is late baroque with a colourful, quaint appearance and a discreet entrance. The facade is very appealing with ground floor access and windows under galleries running the length of the building. The hotel is located on the historic picturesque main square of the town. Public transport is available from the square and on adjacent main roads.

Some rooms are basic and comprises spartan twins with shower and adequate room facilities in fair condition. These rooms are not accessible by lift. The next type is twins/large triples with bath, in good condition. Finally we have superior; which are far more appealing rooms in pseudo Laura Ashley style and 4 poster beds in very good condition.

Friendly staff and helpful getting bus information. Rooms had all necessary amenities except a wash cloth (but 0 of the 4 hotels I stayed in Czech had them either). Rooms were huge, a very comfortable space including a desk and reading chairs,
plus complimentary chocolate upon check-in. The hotel was very quiet however sparsely occupied during our visit. Of course the location is superb, right on the main square and walking distance to train station, restaurants, and shopping. The bathtub was large except had some trouble keeping the water from running out onto the floor during my shower. The beds were comfortable except my "single" room had 2 separated double beds which I was able to push together. Last drawback is there are no blackout shades if you are trying to sleep later in the morning. Breakfast buffet had a decent variety of choices (meats, eggs, fruit, pastries, cereal, etc) with views overlooking the square.
