Fun place to stay!
We were looking for someplace downtown since we were only going to be in there for two nights. Excellent location... provided great access to shops, restaurants, some sightseeing and the downtown area.

Slice of Paradise!!!
I was looking for a good location to celebrate a birthday, and ended up finding paradise! The Renaissance in Curacao is a beautiful hotel, great location on the water (it actually an old fort), tons of shops, and a one-stop destination for fun & relaxation. The casino was nice, even had table games like poker & blackjack. If taking a cab from the airport to the hotel, it'll run you about $35. Everything can be paid in USD, no need to change your currency. The weather on the island is about 87 degrees year round with a perfect breeze, not too hot. Not one drop of rain either. Two infinity pools, one salt water and one fresh water. Excellent! The food is outstanding, drinks were even better. I highly recommend taking the Jeep Safari Beach tour, great way to see the whole island. My tour guide was great. Had an Oceanview King room with balcony, and the view was worth every penny. Woke up everyday to the sound of the ocean, so it can't get better than that. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and multi-lingual (everyone spoke at least 4 languages). I will be going back!! Perfect!!

Family fun
It was a great place in a great location near the town, restaurants and shopping. We had to take taxis to the beaches but it had a great infinity beach and pool right at the hotel that was beautiful!

Nice Getaway
Hotel was very nice and accommodating to our needs. Staff very pleasant and went out their way to accommodate our needs. Beach was impressive even though it was man made and walking distance to several stores and restaurants.

Great place right in the heart of the action
Nice hotel, probably the nicest in downtown Willemstad. Right near the RivFort complex so you can easily walk to restaurants, nightlife, bars. Cruise ships dock nearby. Great access to roads if you rent a car. Would stay there again.

This hotel was first rate all the way. The location is great if you want to enjoy walking the town and checking out the restaurants and museums. We saw some of the natural beaches on the island, but the man-made beach was just fine for relaxing and a little swim. People also seem to enjoy the boat traffic. The buffets were good and seemed reasonably priced (especially as compared to the prices at the little shop in the business center).

Good Location. Good Price.
I got a very good deal on this hotel. Had I not got such a good price, I would've stayed elsewhere as we usually try to do something a little more local and boutique. The location was great near the pontoon bridge. Good dining and drinks options right next door at the Rif Fort and lots of options in walking distance. The place was very clean however the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke as the casino is adjacent and open. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were good. There was free internet in the common areas but in the room there was a fee (unless of course you were close enough to pick up the free wireless signal). It had the most innovative pool I have ever swam in, but there is no beach within walking distance. However, I would highly recommend a rental car, I wouldn't have visited without one. In which case there are some very nice beaches within in a 15min drive. It is nice enough to satisfy the most picky traveler, but I also felt right at home walking through the lobby in my flip flops and t-shirt.
