wonderful experience
No pressure. No hassle. This was a truly remarkable vacation. The beach was wonderful, clean and just a few steps from the pool. The pool and swim up bar were of a unique design that gave you a sense of privacy even though every chair was in use. This is the closest beach resort to Willemstad. Cab fare can be expensive and a hotel shuttle would be nice, but there are so many things to do and see on the island that they can't have a shuttle everywhere. This was one of our best vacations and we are already planning when to go again, there is no question that we will stay at the same location.

Excellent dive location
The hotel is very nice. Food and service, while good, are expensive. Portofino restaurant very good. Staff there really make an effort. Seabreeze restaurant service was awful; we nearly walked out waiting for our bill. The dive shop is wonderful; excellent staff, strong concern for safety, good dive locations. Can't wait to go back! First time I've ever felt that way about a vacation spot.

Family vacation/Wedding anniversary
My wife and I were here 10 years ago for our honeymoon and decided to come back for our 10 year anniversary with our two kids. The grounds are very beautiful and the beach is wonderful. The pool is awesome. The food and drinks are pricey. Car rental is on property but would recommend booking a car before you arrive since cars are limited. Kids absolutely loved the beach and pool.

Good Place Expensive Food
The hotel and staff were great, although the food was overpriced, I have to say the food was good and well prepared but way over priced. Really I mean 64 dollars USD for 3 glasses of wine a bowl of French Onion soup and a Creaser Salad is a little over the top. Drinks were the same as the food over priced but well prepared; your average cocktail was around 10.50 USD. If you went to the beach bar and had the special it was more palatable at 6.00 USD each. Taxi from the hotel are a rip off , a minimum charge of 15.00 each way for 4 to 6 KM taxi ride and 20 to 35 USD for anything over that distance . A rent-a-car is 40 dollars USD a day and if you take it for the week it is a little less, gas for the week in a compact was 40 USD and we drove every day. The hotel amenities were great and the staff friendly and accommodating, the hotel seems to be a under staffed as some days our room was not serviced until 5 pm , if you call the desk and complain they will try and get to your room between noon and 3 PM] I would rate the hotel and facilities at 2 out of 5 with the cost of food and without the food costs considered 4 out of 5

Beautiful Resort- Friendly Staff
The resort is beautiful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful, especially Sheggy, the front desk clerk. He is a delight. Our children loved the pool. I would give it a 5 stars, had it not been for the overpriced dining facilities. $80 for 2 hamburgers and 1 hot dog w/ french fries. Way too much...

Marriott Curacao
The Curacao Marriott is a beautiful resort hotel. The front entrance is covered but open with a view of the pool and south Caribean Sea and beach behind it. This resort is perfect for families with children. Walking distance to the Queen Emma pontoon bridge in Willemstad is only 30 minutes or 5 minutes by taxi for about US $15.

Short walk from hotel
Food in the Marriott is good but there is a great restaurant about 5 minutes walking from the hotel on the Piscadera bay entrance. Great dining on the beach at night. Reastaurant is called Pirate Bay and looks a little shabby on the outside but inside it is perfect. All open to the beach with a bar and pier.

Fantastic family or lover's getaway destination!
Beautiful facility, pool with ocean view and a great beach. Numerous resturants were all very good to excellent. Service was terrific. Would recommend guests opt for a room uprade if you have the chance as the basic rooms are pretty much just that: though clean and tidy could have used a few more square feet of room.

Downtown a pleasant day trip. Weather never gets too hot so no problem walking around without having to buy endless bottles of water. One day is more than enough to see the shopping & attractions.
