Beautiful Scenery, Mediocre Resort
The resort seems to be very outdated. We expected the rooms to be and were correct. Originally had a room in the Royal Tower. We asked to change because it had a very musty smell and about a foot of standing water in the tub. The food was ok, nothing to write home about. But, there was nothing we couldn't eat and to me that's acceptable. The entertainment was ok, but needs to be updated a little. The staff was friendly. I'm not sure if this is true, but it seemed to me that there was a lot of children unsupervised in the pools. In my opinion, they were children of the staff. No one monitored kids in the jacuzzi or adult pool. The resort provided ample beach chairs and snorkle gear which was great. The weather was great. Check-in and out were easy and they met us at the airport. In all, I'd say it's worth a visit to Curacao, but I'd check other resort prices. If you want to save with the an all-inclusive, I'd advise to be prepared off the above and make peace with it. We did, and our honeymoon was great!

Breezes Curacao
The facility was great. The resort was huge and lots of things to do and places to explore. If we were traveling with kids I think this would be a great place to bring them. The schedules of everything was a little confusing. You had to look up what was open everytime you wanted to eat. The staff was very nice if you came up to them with a question, but they were not outgoing. When people were wondering around lost no one came up to them to help. They didn't start any conversations, but were friendly when we initiated the conversation. Beach was big and beautiful. They were soft and sandy and the rock wall in the ocean created a great stop to look at fish! The island overall was dirty. The tourist parts were super clean compared to the outside. I though the beach was a little cluttered with glasses. Then we took a walk outside the resort and it was a mess. The resort was spotless compared to the public beach and parks. However the downtown shopping area was very clean as well. Recommend to stay in the tourist parts of the island. However we didn't see any crime and felt very safe.

The rock wall that is about 50 yards in the ocean is great for snorkeling! It was amazing all the different fish you can see. It also blocks a lot of the waves so you are not tossed around for those we are not strong swimmers.

For the money this is a good vacation spot. Room is similar to something at a Best Western or Holiday Inn. Facilities are nice. Food was fine and better than expected for all-inclusive. Free scuba dive everyday. Casino at nite. Satellite US TV. For what you pay it is a very good buy.

Best Value for a great Vacation
the staff were very friendly they tried to make my stay enjoyable they would stop by and make sure that I was ok as they knew I was traveling alone. I went on tours and met some friendly Dutch and American folks. Last year I traveled to ST Lucia on my own the other guest were not as friendly this time I felt at ease and truly had a good time on my own.

First class fun in the sun
Everything about the trip was enjoyable. The Breezes staff were friendly and helpful as usual. The buffet was far smaller then the Bahamas Breezes but there was no lack of excellent food and the other resturants were great. We rented a car, climbed the mountain in the park, hit all the public beaches and made numerous trips downtown.

BAD breezes
I wouldn't go back. My oceanview room was a moat and a parking park. The place is rundown. No reason to return. All inclusive was one beer Amstell draft and the rum was bad. Food basically tolerable. Staff service was slow at best.

Curacao Lover
Some Reviews we've read are sooo unfair
We did'nt get a chance to use many facilities at the Breezes as we were in Curacao looking for property. However, we had 110 outlets in our room, definately did not find it overly noisey at night. 95 % of staff were wonderful. Front desk staff were wonderful with the exception of 1 or 2 who made you feel like you were bothering them. There was one young girl there who could not do enough for us and also the men on night staff were absolutely wonderful. The girls who took the meal reservations were very pleasant and helpful. Security guards were exceptional, very friendly. Our overall view of the Breezes would give this Hotel a super rating had it not been for the food. We found the food very greasy right down to the spagetti which we figure was cooked in somekind of grease. 95% of the food left much to be desired, nothing like we are used to eating. The first night we were there, they had some kind of meat that was like rubber, you could not even chew it. Fresh fruit and vegetables for salads looked like they had been out for a long period of time. Rolls tasted stale. Rooms were nothing to write home about, but were very clean. Anyone travelling to Curacao had better pack some bug spray. I was eaten alive. Hoping it was just misquitoes. My ankles were absolutely covered in bites. We were out durng the day and at the resort at night, so I'm assuming these bites came while at the resort..... We definately would go back, but have no expectations of eating well.

Don't expect much in the way of delicious food. French Fries on the Beach are great. Only takes a few minutes to drive into Punda, where there is everything you could possibly want. We love Curacao and plan on buying a home there and moving within the next couple of years. People in Curacao are absolutely great. Weather is wonderful, Island is beautiful

Very family friendly
I liked this hotel very much, but the staff of this hotel do not provide good customer service, the phone did not work and my room when I ask anyone to pay attention to me. Through you I could be out before 4:00 pm it was not like I was told I had to leave before 12:00 pm For the rest room, food, landscapes, was wonderful.

Good Value
We traveled to Breezes Curacao on our honeymoon, and were there for 5 nights. While a great value, and a very pleasant place to stay, the resort wan't really a romantic destination. The aquarium was within walking distance, and Willemstadt is just a short cab ride away. The food at the buffet looked quite scary at times, but everything we tried tasted great. Our oceanfront room was really at an angle to the ocean, with a soccer field directly in front of our balcony, and was situated behind the circus area, so there were poles and netting right in front of us. Towels, kayaks & canoes, drinks, and food were always available, and we had a wonderful, relaxing time.
