Missing the Hyatt already!
The Hyatt was beautiful and very clean. This cannot be overstated. We traveled most of the island and visited other top rated hotels and spas, both chains and boutiques. No comaparison. Other facilities were smaller, worn, crowded and lacked ammenities. I found the staff to be terrific. A special mention should go to [...]. She went out of her way to accomodate us. Fitness center could be bigger but clean and nice equipment. Food was great. The Shor restaurant is beautiful. Food was excellent. Service very slow. Medi restaurant also had great food. Staff displayed terrific customer service skills. No contest if I go back to this island I will definitely stay at the Hyatt.

Schönes Ressort
Waehrend unseres Aufenthaltes gab es den Managementwechsel von Hyatt zum neuen Betreiber des Ressorts. Fuer Gaeste aber nicht spuerbar. Golfplatz wunderschoen und sehr fair zu spielen, gutes Service und hohe Qualitaet der Leihschlaeger. Kritik: Leerer Kuehlschrank im Zimmer, kein Hinweis, dass man sich "selbst versorgen" muss. Kein Flaschenoeffner vorhanden. Essen im Hotel relativ teuer. Kein richtiger Barbetrieb. Fuer Fruehstueck zu wenig Platz im Restaurant, daher laengere Wartezeiten fuer Tischzuweisung. WLAN kostenpflichtig (15$/Tg), und im Zimmer schwach empfangbar, ist heutzutage in dieser Kategorie eigentlich nicht mehr ueblich!

Weitab vom Schuss, aber feine Lage am Wasser.
Das Hotel entspricht voll dem Hyatt-4 Sterne-Standard. Das Frühstücksbufett ist leider gleichbleibend langweilig. Die dem Hotel angehörenden Restaurants sind gut, aber "upmarket" = relativ teuer. Schon deswegen ist ein Mietwagen dringend zu empfehlen. Leider lässt sich die Klimaanlage nicht abschalten, man muss die Balkontür öffnen, damit das Kühlgebläse sich selbst ausschaltet. Balkontür öffnen = Einladung an die Mosquitos ... Ergebnis: Air Condition-Schnupfen und viiiiiele Mückenstiche. Fahrzeit bis Wilhelmstad etwa eine halbe Stunde. Der praktisch zum Hotel gehörende Golfkurs ist toll angelegt und relativ leicht zu spielen.
