Superb!!!

I suffered a bad ankle sprain and the hotel staff were very very helpful in providing ice, directions to the local pharmacy, ... delayed check out.

Take a hotel business card with you to show taxi drivers......Zagreb taxi drivers tend to let you get in the cab and THEN they will try to figure out where the destination is by cell phone or radio as they drive around.

Good Hotel, Good Location

Stayed here in early September 2009. A good hotel, clean but small rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast. Location is close ... to the centre with 5-10 min walking to all major sites. Good restaurant nearby. Ask at the reception as you'll miss it for sure. A little on the expensive side for my taste, but overall a great stay.

The room was clean, the bathroom well organized. The only bad thing was perhaps the bed. There was only one not-so-great ... pillow and the cover looked old. Otherwise, it was good for the price. The breakfast included in the price was quite decent. The hotel is very close to the main train station and to the tram stop which takes you to the main bus station. It was also close to the post office (open almost 24 hrs) and to the main underground shopping center.

Location is convenient, very close to the main square and all the restaurants and cafes. There weren't that many people in Zagreb in August though, which was a surprise.
