really big hotel with very nice view
Medena is a big hotel. As I traveled outside the season, the hotel was booked with big groups and schools. While i booked (and payed for)a tourist-class room, they gave me an upgrade to a comfort room. With a spectacular view on the beach. The renovated room was clean, but lacked in character. Breakfast was decent, i never tried the lunch or dinner at the hotel. When you traveling outside the season (end september-early october) most of the shops/bars on the beach are closed. While the beach is still enjoyable, once the sun sets, there isn't to much to do in the hotel. There was a disco, filled with small children aged 13-14, and a pizzeria with loud French seniors.

A resort Hotel
This is a resort hotel. It is located right at the water (Adriatic Sea). It looks like having good facilities for families with children. However, the room was very tight, especially for the type of accomodations I selected. Having spent one evening only didn't give me enough time to check all the amenities. Being on business usually the comfort of the room is my first choice and it didn't have it.
