Jadran Hotel

The hotel wasn't located too far from the main area of Split. It was plain and simple with zero frills. I had a balcony in my room, but no hairdryer, and the shower water took a long time to warm up. The hotel "free wifi" turned out to be an ethernet cable. The bed was descent, not great. My biggest complaint is that there were glass windows above the doors to the room letting in far, far too much light at night to sleep. If you stay and are sensitive to light at night and are used to European hotels being easy to be made totally dark at night, don't travel without an eye mask.

by far this was the worst we had in Croatia. Room was small, beds were hard with 1 small pilow. We requested balcony and did not get. Breakfast that was included for one nite at $175.00 was not what this country offers - and food was sitting outside without any ice to keep it cold. Very disapointing.

the service here is exceptional. we came in after a 20 hour train ride and they were able to find us a room by 9 am. the staff is extremely accomodating, friendly, and helpful. it is also closer to the nicer beaches on split, however it is a little bit of a hike from Riva. it is great for families.

could possibly do with a revamp of the rooms but good for the price. it is a bit of a walk from split town but it is a nice walk, good to work up an appetite! lovely location though right on the water. would stay there again.

Very reasonably priced and in a great location. The staff went out of their way to make sure the stay was comfortable. The facilities were very good i.e. gym, swimming pool, internet access etc. Also very good buffet breakfast with varied choice.

The Jadran Hotel in Split is off the beaten track, but in a fine location for one willing to do some pleasant walking. Right next to a lovely small park and very close to a harbor area with some fine fish restaurants, it is a short walk to some beautiful beach areas, with a magnificent sculpture museum in the beautiful residential area above the beach area. The walk to the main harbor and the old town is about 20 minutes, and it's very pleasant. The decor of the hotel is Scandanavian-looking, all in crisp, bright blue and white. The hotel staff is friendly; the restaurant quite good. Lay-out of the hotel is a bit strange, around a large pool, with stands, for the location was once the training area for the national water polo team, with trophies on display. A health club is attached. I recommend Split off-season, in late September, when the weather is pleasant, the crowds are gone and the charm remains.

Hotel en mal estado de conservacion. Necesita urgentemente una remodelación. Servicio justito tirando a malo. Buena situación a 10 min. andando del centro de Split. Mala relación calidad/precio.
