- Bedrooms are medium in size, and are basic but well-appointed and well-presented. White walls and dark carpets give a simple, uncluttered appearance to the rooms, which are of a good standard. The rooms are partly renovated, and the modernisation is making quick progress.

Short Dubrovnik Break
Ideal location for exploring both old and new ports of Dubrovnik - Old City only 25mins walk away or short bus ride on the regular bus service past the hotel. Woudl reccomend the 3 day city card which gives you access to several museums, the city walls, 10 bus rides and restaurant discounts. Excellent value. A trip up the cable car to overlook the city is a must on a clear day. Good breakfast included in our stay. Only things missing were tea/coffee making facilities in our room and a working computer in the foyer for on-line airline check-in etc.

excellent hotel and wonderful stay
Hotel Lero is the perfect location since it's took around 15 minutes of a leisurely stroll looking at the Adriatic coast on the way to the old town. An ant hill [read other reviews as a hill to climb] never noticed an incline and I never thought to take the bus back with my eight days at the hotel. Couldn't ask for a better breakfast and I've stayed many times in five star hotels to compare. The staff was very efficient, not overly friendly but pleasant which I appreciated since I didn't want to waste my time chatting. I had dinner one evening there and the grilled squid that I ordered was fabulous. If I return to Dubrovnik in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to make reservations at Hotel Lero.

Short walk from hotel
city wall is a must, cable car up and walking down, discovering the entire Dubrovnik by walking, Lokrum island is fabulous, a trip to Kotor, Montenegro was brilliant, Mostar, Bosnia was equally amazing. Spend at least a week and you never will repeat a thing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lero Hotel. Friendly staff, great facilities and very easy to reach the Old Town and beaches by bus. The swimming pool is an absolute bonus, especially after a long day at the beach or in the Old Town.

Excellent hotel. Can't fault it
Excellent hotel. Can't fault it at all, and for the price it was unbeatable. Everything was perfect, the room, the breakfast, the pool, the restaurant was fabulous and the staff very friendly and cooperative. When I visit wonderful Dubrovnik again, I wont hesitate to book this hotel every time.

Perfectly fine and clean hotel,
Perfectly fine and clean hotel, only 5 minutes by bus (3 an hour) from old town, or 5 from new town. friendly. Would certainly recommend it.

It would be great if tea / coffee
It would be great if tea / coffee making facilities were provided in the room. The hair dryer is frustrating to use - needs to be updated to a hand held model.

Good hotel
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is a standard one, but it was expensive due to the season and because of the declining dollar. The location is nice and about 25 minutes walk from the old town (it is uphill on the walk back to the hotel). The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Overall, a good hotel for an expensive summer destination.

Kaikki meni odotusten mukaisesti.Yllätti etäisyys sutthle bussin päätepisteestä hotellille,ei osattu tulopäivänä selvittää kaupunkibusseja eikä lähdetty ottamaan takseja vaan käveltiin mäkistä katureittiä. No jos toisen kerran mennään niin eipä sekään olisi ongelma. Aamiainen tosi hyvä, päivällinen oli enemmänkin massakeittiömäinen. Henkilökunnan palvelu ihan hyvää tasoa vaikkemme nyt niin hirveästi palveluapua tarvinneetkaan.
