nice place, the staff was great and they gave us alot of information.the rooms were very clean.

I enjoyed this hotel , was worth the money , I would get the breakfast included with room(when you check in ) , is much cheaper that way . Has good places to eat the Toucan and Japanese place were very good , close to Brazil steakhouse and other places . Easy to get to everywhere , main highway close by , but do have to take a taxi . Everyone friendly and helpful from front desk to tour desk , maids , and room service . San Jose is not very cheap to stay in and go places , but I did enjoy it and more so the tours I took outside of San Jose . The hotel is open in the center ,so it is a little noisy at night to try and sleep , for quiet I would bring ear plugs . They are attached to a full gym with the aerobic classes , machines, and free weights , so if you do not get workout it is your fault !

Staff was nice , food was good ,not much to do in neighborhood around hotel , was pretty easy to get on highway to go places ,but was alot of road noise and traffic . The design of open center of hotel all the way up made it a little noisy when trying to relax or sleep in your room . A really nice gym next door that you could use ,access by a door from hotel ,lots of weights ,classes , and aerobic equipment ,just as nice as any gym in the USA . Food and minibar was pretty high just like a USA hotel ,and as high as the other 5 star hotel I stayed in while I was there for a meeting . Would buy some stuff at a supermarket , and then have them come up and take the minibar stuff out and put your own waters , snacks and beers in the fridge ,save at least half ,unless you like to buy $5 beers ,and $3 waters ! The excursion my girlfriend and I went on to Manuel Antonio beach was worth it ,saw lots of MONKEYS !

We stayed for 6 nights at the hotel and overall it was clean which is the most important factor.

breakfast, internet, airport pickup are extra. staff very friendly and helpful and all speak english well. 5-10 min. outside of downtown san jose

Everyone, the bell hop, front desk folks, restaurant personnel, concierge, was very anxious to help. Every morning the maitre d' had my new favorite tea (pineapple - delicious) ready at my favorite table, preceding a beautiful breakfast buffet too abundant and scrumptious to describe. The amiable concierge helped me prepare a week's work of tours making every day an adventure. The front desk exchanged money, hailed taxi's, and answered all my dumb tourist questions. If I ever returned to Costa Rica, I would certainly stay here.

When we 1st arrived I thought we would have to 1st catch a cab to the hotel but there was a man with my name waiting for me outside. That was a surprise and relief!!! Not too thrilled when I arrived at the hotel because the front desk staff had told me they gave my room away to some other group which arrived unexpectedly after having my reservations for over 3 months. They accomadated me and my mom to a resort nearby which was nice but too peaceful. After putting my foot down and explaining things like this shouldnt be done to someone who traveled so far, the front desk manager upgraded me and my mom to a better room and continental breakfast while our stay there.

A great hotel, god food and the pool and room were fantastic! Although near the aiport, otherwise pretty far from anything else in the city and located on a highway. I would stay there again though!

Actually the staff were very helpful when I needed anything. That is what I look for in my hotels.
