two night stay in downtown San Jose before leaving Costa Rica
I stayed at Hotel Costa Rica Morazan two nights. It was a stopping point before leaving Costa Rica for home in the US. The second morning, a delivery truck was parked there in the morning and was noisy and rumbling the room. While in San Jose, explored the museums and downtown shopping areas. The price is good for the location. The drapes were very old. The lighting in the room was poor. They had dim pale white energy efficient flourescent bulbs. The door would stick and took some force to close it shut, causing it to slam loudly. There were pigeons that nested on top of the air conditioner unit that stuck outside of our room.

Vacation getaway
staff is great they offer free breakfest which is a plus..Wifi can be spotty at times depending on what floor you have. its downtown so there are many places to eat for a short walk.

This is an old hotel but is in someway good keep it and in need of some renovations. Located in an excellent place close to almost everything in San Jose Down Town and excellent for single man looking for good company. What need is a mini bar inside the rooms in the way to have juices, beer, sodas without get out of the hotel to buy them; in the Restaurant the food is very good, but the ilumination of the local is deficient. What is the best about this hotel? The "SUPER STAFF" that it has, simply EXCELLENT and very Proffessionals. Luis from Miami.

Workers in Lobby
Hotel rooms were fine - clean and tidy. Continuous stream of 'lady workers' in lobby, elevator, and in casino. Hotel concierge was helpful in arranging tours.

Several restaurants within short distance. Second-floor restarurant in hotel was really a bar, serving food on the side. Free hotel breakfast buffet was very good.

Lets just say if you are looking for somewhere to sleep for the night, this is you place. If you're looking for anything else, you probably should be looking somewhere else.
