Casa Conde Hotel and Suites

Nice non-chain hotel located far from airport in hard to find community of San Jose. Good value and quaint hotel with pleasant staff. Uniquely Costa Rican decotated hotel that is only a little dated. Good hotel,, but so hard to locate in a city with poor street signage and google maps that just doesn't work properly.

The decorating touches were not expected--beautiful stain glass windows and wall paintings. The staff is exceptional-- friendly and helpful. The restaurant was okay with a great breakfast buffet and some dinner items done very well. The sea bass was outstanding but other dishes were unexciting or strange. The location is an inconvenience considering the time it takes to get to downtown San Jose during rush hours.

Beautiful older hotel, spacious suites, lavishly appointed, good on-site restaurant, expensive. Full free breakfast, helpful staff. Gated secure grounds, free parking. Very very difficult to find like many places in San Jose. No signs, not the the best part of town, otherwise a gem.

I love the location as well as the staff. the hotel was excellent. I will tell my friends about this hotel to anyone who is visiting san jose in the future. Great place. I can not say it enough.

I have stayed here before and its a good value for the price. Suits have two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is large has a good oven a and fridge, it is also equiped with pots pans and almost everything you need to cook. Supermarkets are close by if you choose to cook. The restaurant is good also. The service is friendly and efficient.

I travel with my family ( 2 little boys ages 2 and 5), I take the junior suite full equiped with kitchen and laundry inside (like a little condo), In general shapes was ok. clean and comfort. the only bad thing, It was only one tv in the living room and no tv in no one of the two bedrooms. so it was war for the remote control. All the rest was ok. better i expect.

This hotel pays close attention to detail. The staff, especially the receptionist on duty thoughout my 6 night stay ,always greeted me with a smile and was always eager to help me. The pool looked welcoming, but it was lousy weather when I visited in November. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a little variety each day. The restaurant menu wasn't very large, but geat food. I will stay here again if I stay in San Jose again.

The hotel was good for extended stay. Not within walking distance of city though. many amenities although wifi to rooms was spotty. Staff very friendly and helpful, food was good.

This hotel it’s a great choice for a business trip, they have great food and service, internet its free and has everything close by taxi.

I had read comments regarding the location and food, etc. The experience my family had was great. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Staff always addressd us by our names and always asked if there was anything we needed. Some reviews I read were concerned about the location but it is close to so much in San Jose. We had a wonderful time. What more could you ask for? For the price it's a great deal. And to have a washer and dryer in the suite, with children, that was a great plus!
