my second time
I've been to Costa Rica twice for "dental tourism" and stayed at this Best Western both times. The pool is beautiful. I've never had a problem and would go back again

First trip to Costa Rica
Overall, the hotel was very good. We had free international calls, free breakfast every morning and free shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel staff was also very nice and friendly.

Don't remember the name but it was a Chinese restaurant down the street by the supermarket. It was fantastic!

Great value
The room was clean, and had a great view of the garden and pool. The staff is very friendly and even put a refrigerator in our room for storing medicines. The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the airport, and also free drinks during happy hour!

Wouldn't stay anywhere else
We picked this hotel because we had never travelled to Costa Rica before, and honestly we don't speak a lick of Spanish either! Figured our best bet would be an American chain in order to insure a decent standard of amenities. Our expectations were exceeded! Staff is friendly and helpful, you get free breakfast, free international calls, and (best of all) free drinks during happy hour. I stayed here last year, and this year we were in an even nicer room, which I believe they were remodeling when I stayed last year.

The seafood restaurant down the street (next to the supermarket) has the best ceviche. It can be a little pricey to eat there, but the food is GREAT. I will eat there every time I stay there.

stop over
stopped in on arrival and departue while spending a week in country, rented a car at the hotel, played some cards and ate the breakfast at Dennys. It was good and convenient with the airport shuttle
