Very nice hotel. I will recommend it.
Hotel has a good location with easy access. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast was very good. Very good value for your money.

If you're arriving in San Jose, CR by air, make a reservation with the Barcelo Palacio Hotel for a shuttle-bus pick-up at the airport upon your arrival at least 24-hours in advance of your arrival or you will have to pay about $25 for a taxi to the hotel.

Adequate facility, very good price
Hotel seems set-up for business travellers. There is no place you can walk to such as shopping, restaurants or park; taxi needed for any trip. At site restaurants are OK but little variety, high prices and unexplainable variation in details (for example, one meal-time at main restaurant not a single table had a napkin). We got a very good deal for the air and hotal package and enjoyed several day trips arranged thru the hotel.

Gov't regulated taxis (with yellow triangle on side) are dependable but will charge up to 3 times other taxi's charge. The other taxis, if arranged thru hotel, seem safe and just as good as the regulated ones.

This hotel was recommened at the bottom of my flight itineray. Thought the value was great for the money, but the buffet was overpriced. I enjoyed the free breakfast. I won't hesitate to book again!

Visit family and friends in Costa Rica
Excellent service and location. We were able to travel to different parts of the city and several towns close to San Jose. It is also close to the airport and the hotel offers free transportation. The restaurant breakfast was superb.

Hotel driving distance is close to family members and to several areas around the city. Not far from the center of San Jose and shopping areas. Also close to the airport.

Great service Great Location without being downtown
Hotel is always pleasurable. It is convenient for my travel but is not in the downtown area. I prefer to stay closer to the airport and visit downtown. The location is safe and each room key only allows each person with a key to access the fllor they are staying on. Breakfast buffet is very good, taxis are plentiful and everything we asked for was provided including faxes and scans.
