An excellent and convenient central Costa Rican location between San Jose and the airport, do not be fooled by the location of many others. We are in the scenic mountainous outskirts of San Jose, in the prestigious and safe Cariari area. Our year round spring like temperature has been touted in National Geographic as one of the best in the world. Large 4 star deluxe rooms with air conditioning and comfortable orthopedic queen size beds, a free exotic buffet breakfast, 24 hour internet, and our new Jacuzzi Waterfall Garden in the solarium. Also, free admission to the nearby private water theme park, Water Land, with pools, and slides, and so much more, bring the whole family for a day in the sun. We are within walking distance of casinos, fine dining restaurants, and the large new Caraiari Mall.

Easy Airport Stop, great service!

We used this hotel as a stop over on our way to the International Airport in Costa Rica. They had everything organized for a quick stop over, wake-up calls, free ride to the airport, boxed breakfast (when leaving early). There is a restaurant, pool, bar and internet service. Great rate.

Over all good experience

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and honest. The rooms were comfortable and the buffet breakfast was really good with fresh papaya and pineapple The dining & bar area are located in a nice open air view location the atmosphere was pleasant and warm even though it rained a lot. I stayed for three days last October and had no problems.

Bad Experance

Because of weather in Costa Rica we were late getting to the Adventure Inn. When we got there our 5 night reservations were cancelled even when we garenteed with our credit card. The front desk said sorry. I was very un happy with [...] the Adventure Inn Hotel [...]. After me being very upset the front desk found 2 nights. The front desk said we are on our own to find the other three nights in another hotel. "But" if we help the front desk?? they could maybe find the other nights?? We need to check later the front desk said?? After checking every day the front desk found the other three nights with the comment that if we would have helped the front desk ($100.00 dollars) we would not had the problem. We found if you did not tip the maid $10.00 dollars. You did not get towles, soap, tolet paper, shampoo or the room cleaned.I would not recomend this hotel to anyone!!!

"WARNING DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!!!!!

Because of bad weather in Costa Rica we arrived late for our 5 day stay. The reception desk at the Adventure Inn said, Our reservations were canceled. The front desk said sorry.[...]. Well they were able to find a room for two nights we booked for 5 nights. I asked about the other 3 nights? "It was suggested that if I would help out the person at the front desk they may be able to find three more nights". ($100.00) The person at the front desk said you will have to find for yourself those 3 nights in another hotel. But check back in 2 days and we will see what we may have for the missing 3 nights. Again that suggestion ($100.00)would do the trick? The hotel was medium to low rating. If you wanted towels, soap, shampoo and tolet paper you need to tip the maid $10.00 a night or you get nothing.Costa Rica. (6 months it rains A LOT!!) from July to mid January. The other 6 months January to July the weather is nice.We found everything to be very expensive in Costa Rica. Even the people that live in Costa Rica say it is very expensive to live in Costa Rica. Food, Hotels Tours, Gas, Close and Shoes are double to triple what they are in the USA,We had bad experances the time we were in Costa Rica. From being riped off from money exchanges to being overcharged for everything we bought. It seams that everyone is out to get as much as they can from the American and Canadian Tourist.

DON'T GO TO COSTA RICA!!! Dinners run from $60.00 to $100.00 per person and the food is sub-standard.
