Believe!

Would recommend Thu, Jan 9, 2014
We were late. They waited for us. We were tired. They made us very comfortable. We were hungry. The food was very good every time. We wanted rest. They catered to our every need. We wanted calm. They brought towels to our lounger, fruit snacks, drinks, water loungers from one level pool to another, and set-up lunch for a peaceful meal. We wanted enchantment. The local troop of squirrel monkeys came by to entertain. We wanted to experience Manuel Antonio Park. They made every arrangement

Attractions

The 1 hour trip to see the butterflies was, also, worth every moment.

Romantic getaway

Would recommend Wed, Mar 27, 2013
Excellent service, attentive staff, great spa, and so much to do both at the Hotel and in surrounding Manuel Antonio/Quepos area. We did a canyoning tour, hiked the preserve at Gaia and took a private tour of Manuel Antonio (4 of us and a guide, as opposed to 15 or 20 people and a guide with the other tours). Your hotel concierge will arrange everything and anything for you, and you pay one bill at the end of your stay. By day 3 or 4 we realized all we needed to do was hang out by the pool and we could see toucans, a sloth, and other exotic birds, all while sipping the cocktail of the day.

Dining

Cafe Milagro - great coffee, great food, extensive drink list, and two locations close by.

The best luxury hotel to stay in Manuel Antonio

Would recommend Sun, Mar 3, 2013
Hotel is located in the touristy part - in the tourist oriented upscale part of Manuel Antonio. Very beautiful view and exceptional breakfast - i think those were the best eggs Benedict i ever ate. However food is pricey and if you want more local flavor you can go down to the city (hotel has free shuttle there) and try much cheaper local restaurants. Hotel has free shuttle to the beach as well. Rooms are comfortable, however bathroom is small and little weird - located on the side of the room with the sliding door like in a closet. Hotel has gorgeous infinity pool that overlooks the forest and the ocean. Stuff was very polite and helpful. Overall I think this is the best upscale experience you can have in Manuel Antonio.

Gaia hotel

Would recommend Wed, Feb 6, 2013
Our stay at the gaia hotel far exceeded my expectations. The hotel was very quiet, clean and had many romantic elements. Latin guitar in the evenings, while enjoying drinks on the rooftop is a must! All staff went out of there way to be helpful. Each employee was able to speak English and always greeted us with a smile. All tours were booked by the front desk, with shuttles running promptly. You won't be disappointed, I promise!

Fabulous

Would recommend Sun, Jul 8, 2012
Beautiful, well appointed, modern hotel at the top of a hill with great views. Staff is very attentive to guest's every needs -- each guest has a concierge. Rooms are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. Food is delish. If you don't have a car, they drive you into town or to the beach .. but only until 4:30. Very welcoming and willing to address all of your needs. I would definitely stay here again. A few negatives...could have more shelves in the bathroom for toiletries. We got a bit bored of the breakfast menu after 5 days. This is the worst I can say.

Entertainment hint

Do the 10 adventure tour where you zipline, rappel and swim under a waterfall. Amazing. Worth every penny of the $130 per person. And it even includes lunch.

Great time

Would recommend Tue, May 29, 2012
Talk about relaxation, this place had it in spades. The welcome drink is a great start...the poolside bar, the free breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruit being offered to you constantly. Only warning....lots of bugs around in tropical area of Costa Rica and they are not easy to keep out of your room.

Splendid Costa Rica seclusion

Would recommend Sun, May 20, 2012
Top-notch attention to detail; constant attention from the well-trained yet unobstrusive staff. The killer-views from the Luna Restaurant veranda was dreamy: treetops & long beach landscape bordered with dark green mountains Day-trips were effortlessly arranged. River rafting on Savegre River, Ocean kayaking & snorkeling, priceless snorkeling expedition to Isla del Cano was incredible, included a stop @ Corcovado National Park. A fantastic experience!
