Art Hotel is Medelln's first boutique hotel, located in the heart of El Poblado. Art Hotel is itself a living and breathing work of art and a breath of fresh air in Medelln's competitive hotel scene. Indeed, the elegant decor created by the seductive combination of polished concrete, wood and red bricks is apparent throughout the hotel. While the atmosphere created by Art Hotel's young and energetic staff is refreshing compared to the overtly reserved or stagnated posture sometimes encountered in luxury hotels. ART HOTEL has 54 modern luxury rooms, where the cement and brick finishing combined with the technology available, surprises the guests by giving them all the modern resources in a quality atmosphere with personalized service. Art Hotel also has its own movie theater with daily projections of art films open to the public and an 'urban spa' using the latest techniques in relaxation and body care. Not only does the spacious ground floor double as an art gallery with exhibitions from Colombian and international artists alike, but Art Hotel's minimalist industrial-style interior is itself an energizing stimulant permanently on view. The hotel also provides free breakfast to its guests.

Art Hotel

Great location, great hotel concept for Colombia but poor execution. room layout odd and inefficient, shower head was state of the art but improperly connected so water just sprayed EVERYWHERE! Wall mounted flat screen TV but poor viewing angle. Lots of outside noise gets into room, everything from fellow guests and even plumbing to outside noise. Again, great concept but poor execution.
