The Sofitel Santa Clara is located in the historic heart of Cartagena, a city declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Located on the Caribbean Sea, its colonial balconies and walled city hark back to the era of pirates, corsairs and Spanish traditions. This beautifully converted hotel has significant architectural value and has been divided into Colonial and Republican styles. During the restoration process many valuable artifacts were recovered and have now been used in the interior decoration. Each corner of the hotel has an important story to tell. All the guest rooms have a view over the cobbled old city, the Caribbean Sea or the beautiful interior tropical courtyards, and are excellently equipped to satisfy the most exquisite of tastes. Cooling sea breezes flow through the hotels graceful arches and provide a respite from the Caribbean's warm tropical climate. At Sofitel, they have transformed conviviality and comfort into an art form. The hotel's restaurants and bars provide the perfect setting for relaxing and socializing and offer refined French cuisine with the latest in fusion dishes from around the world. wonderful family reunion

Nice hotel...a lot of extra unexpected charges......The air in the room keep turning off I ques it has a sensor so I was swetting all the time....The restaurants are to died for..........wonderful security.....The staff will do anything for you....overall we enyoy the stay.....my sons wedding was in the hotel so we it was worth it....

The argentinian restaurant next to the hotel....and seviche also next to the hotel....be careful with beer prices....
