Disatisfied traveler
Beatiful hotel with poor service
Great location. Beatiful hotel, clean, nice pool in the 6th floor with great view. But bad costumer service for the price. For that price most hotels bend backwards to keep their customers happy, this was the opposite. It was almost for as they felt that they had costumers despite providing good service or not. They provided the basic, but did not go any further, most of the time a smile was difficult to even come by. If the 2nd guest for the room is not registered initially then get charge an extra $70.

Truly Beautiful Hotel
My girlfriend is a native of Colombia, but had never stayed at this particular hotel, so i was a happy gringo to be able to show her something new in her own country. The hotel is situated in the old city of Cartagena, right up against the city walls and in a perfect location to just chillax and walk around to get a feel for the old city. Beaches are a 5000 pesos ($2.50) cab ride away, but the rooftop pool is something to see. Amazing views from all around! My particular room had a garden view which basically looks into the hotels courtyard, but even with a wedding going on, i was never disturbed by any noise. Balcony had comfy chairs and a cool hammock, the room was extremely clean and well air conditioned, the bathroom was luxurious, the staff are all polite, courteous, and super friendly. many spoke english, but even those that did not made every effort to help out however possible. the bed itself was a little harder than i am personally used to, but still not uncomfortable, and the linens were clean and soft. priced higher than most other hotels, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Would definately stay there again! Wish they offered free internet and/or wireless access...

Fabulous Hotel !!!
Great time, safe, relaxing, quiet, ideal location, beautiful views and cites. Next to perfect, the only thing I would recomend is that you not use there room phone to call usa, they chargesd me $4 usd. per minute and if you eat at the roof top restaraunt or the lobby restaraunt pay right away, do not defray the bill to your room bill, you will regret it. They ar very expensve and and have alot of fees.
