Alto Prado is a contemporary 5-star hotel situated in Barranquillas exclusive country club district. It offers stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi and an outdoor pool with panoramic city views. The rooms at Estelar Alto Prado have chocolate brown wood furnishings and contrasting white tiled floors. All are equipped with air conditioning and cable TV, and have floodlit ceiling to floor windows. Guests at Estelar can use the well-equipped gym and business center. They can also enjoy a relaxing massage or sunbathe on the hotels elegant sun terrace. The restaurant serves international cuisine and the cafe serves cocktails and light snacks. A daily breakfast buffet with fresh fruits, natural juices and pastries is available. Note : Hotel Insurance is not included USD $4.00 per night and per person. Foreigner Passengers are exempted from taxes. Colombia Passengers MUST to pay 10% tax per person per night. Excellent Hotel in Great Location

Hotel was excellent, great location. There are not many good hotels to choose from in Barranquilla - I have stayed at 2-3 other 3-4 start hotels previously - but Estelar Alto Prado has been the best one so far.

good for business travel or quick stopover

friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet. neighhborhood safe and pleasant enough for baranquilla but nothing of real interest in the vicinity. Good for business travel I suppose.
