Bad service; didn't recognize prepayment
Went to Xi'an to see the Terracotta warriors, and thought this place would be a good deal. The location was great - inside the city walls and only about a block from the bell tower.BUT...The hotel did not recognize that we had already paid through [...]. I ended up spending an hour on the phone trying to get a refund before paying the hotel because no one could speak English at the hotel and the manager kept saying they did not have a partnership. That was definitely frustrating.Besides that, I was a little mystified when I requested that they call us a taxi to take us to the train station and we were told to take the bus.The rooms were alright - about what you would expect for the price. The Internet was impossibly slow, but that's been my experience all throughout China.Overall, I would avoid booking this hotel through [...]because you'll have to pay twice or rack up the roaming charges on your phone trying to sort things out. ;-)

Great hotel for the price.
This hotel is central to the bell tower, drum tower, the Muslim market, and the wall. There are several options for Chinese food and western food. All that is within walking distance. The staff was friendly and tried very hard to help us even if they had little English skills. We had to work to get on the internet but it did work. It was not wireless though. There are several stores nearby to get snacks, drinks or forgotten items. This was not the nicest hotel that I have ever stayed at. However, I needed a good hotel at a great price and this hotel offered that. If you are looking to travel cheaply and don't mind a three star then this is a great option. The entrance is down the alley.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
To get to a great shopping area for souvenirs you walk out of the alley that the hotel is in and turn left. Go under the street and turn left again. Walk toward the drum tower or the McDonalds. When you pass the McDonalds you will see the Drum tower to the right. Go around it on the right side and go behind it. There should be a long street with stores straight ahead. Make sure you bargain hard.

Location, location, location!
I titled my review "Location, location, location!" because this hotel was so convenient...right downtown, close to several sightseeing spots, with several bus stops nearby, and with both a McDonald's and Starbucks located just across the street. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet...my only complaint was that the temperature (even with everything turned off) was too hot. On the other hand, I found the front desk staff to be rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly. For example: Despite having my reservation in their computer...a PREPAID reservation I might add...my reservation number, AND my passport, which clearly showed my name exactly as it was in their computer...they were initially not going to let me even check in because I hadn't printed out a copy of my reservation from my computer. I had to threaten to leave before they finally agreed to let me check in. Also, there was no room service (despite there being room service menus in the room), and the hotel restaurant, which was undergoing renovations, had been temporarily moved upstairs...where they served cold coffee (thankfully, there was Starbucks across the street from the hotel). In summary, I thought the hotel itself was very good, but the staff not so great!

The front desk staff are unhelpful
The front desk staff are unhelpful and rude. When we asked if they could call a cab to the railway station, they told us to take a bus or walk to the main road. Really atrocious service. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there.

Good value hotel. Great location near the bell tower for shopping and getting around town. 24hr convenience store right next door was good too. Room was clean, bathroom recently renovated. Would stay again.

The room was very run down, carpet
The room was very run down, carpet dirty and the bathroom unclean. There was a very strong paint smell pervading the hotel. The breakfast was average (we went out for breakfast on the second morning). The only positive aspect was the location (very close to the Drum and bell Towers and the Muslim Quarter. A very good supermarket next door with helpful staff.

Location is about perfect for
Location is about perfect for the bell and drum towers, moslem quarter, city wall, and bus out to great goose pagoda. Reception was helpful, (the early check in was a great blessing after the overnight from Beijing!) and Victoria spoke fine English and helped resolve a driver "issue." The price is excellent, and breakfast was fine, although no juice was included. Credit card machine was unavailable, so we had to use cash - not a huge deal. The rooms were average, but you're not there for the room, right? I was very pleased with it, and would gladly stay there next time we're in Xi'an!

交通便利、安価が最大メリット。設備は価格相応。掃除はきちんとされて清潔な方。一概にはいえないだろうが、2泊して2晩ともほかに比べてネットは早くないような印象だった。
