The hotel is supposed to be a "4 star" hotel but don't be fooled, it is a 2 star at best. The room was mediocre with stained carpeting and filthy windows and broken AC. The hotel is supposed to be non-smoking but they don't enforce it at all. Our floor smelled terribly of smoke. When we asked to switch rooms because of this they told us no. I wouldn't stay here again, I would spend $10 more per night and stay at a nicer hotel. The Sofitel in Xian was very nice.

A great 4 star hotel in a down
A great 4 star hotel in a down town central location, convenient to everything. Don't miss the Great Mosque, Starbucks just off the Bell Tower, and take a taxi to the Little Goose Pagoda so you can see the fantastic museum they built there. The collection of sculpture and glass is second to none I've ever seen, and they don't even mention it in the guide books. Btw the staff speaks English, even if you speak Mandarin to them. Not a problem, but just another point on how nice a hotel this is for westerners. I've been to 40 different Chinese cities, and have never stayed at a nicer hotel than this.

Hôtel agréable, très bien situé
Hôtel agréable, très bien situé dans Xian. Convient parfaitement pour quelques jours de tourisme à Xian.
