Suzhou Splendor
The Pan Pacific Suzhou is one of the best places I have ever visited and I travel frequently. The facilities are 5 star but the real asset is all of the staff. From the minute we arrived and even after we checked out they went well above the expected to make our stay memorable. I had a minor medical problem and they helped get me an appointment to be seen at a reputable clinic within hours. After we checked out and had difficulty obtaining transportation back to Shanghai (because of train problems no tickets on any train or bus that day) we called and they very quickly arranged for a hire car to drive us back. The next time I am in Shanghai I will definately add a few days in Suzhou so I can enjoy the Pan Pacific again.

had some issues with getting the right bed configurations needed and ordered online, but eventually resolved. Buffet was great but pricy. Garden was worth all the price!
