Not a five star, but ok
When you consider the location is directly across from the the szx railway station, it's a good value for under $220 a night. If you pay more than that, you will be disappointed with the rooms and cleanliness. It's an older hotel.

Wow! this place is the place to stay in Shenzhen, More than what we expected, just a short walk to the big shopping area. Very close to Train station 5min walk don't take taxi, be careful crossing roads in Shenzhen cars don't stop even on zebra crossings(lol)

The constant Traveler
STOP!! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!
Ok so I stayed at this Hotel before about a year ago and at the time I absolutely loved it, but after leaving today lets just say I am happy to be out! The lobby walls look to be falling apart, they tried sticking me in lesser room that I paid for, the new room was the same with only a better TV and A/C so I just dealt with it. This hotel use to feel like 5 stars but now its more like 2 stars with 5 star prices. At breakfast buffet they rush you out and even throw away your food when you go up to grab a drinkm I actually had to yell this morning for them not to do it a 3rd time. Did I mention on my check out they insisted on me using their shuttle to HK airport where I was taken into a second hotel and swpped into another van so fast I left my phone in th first one never to see it again, and I had to scream at the driver, his company and Shangri la to finally check 3hrs after the fact. Lets just say the 1 and only thing good about this hotel is a champs bar and grill and even that is compeltely limited. I WILL NEVER stay here again, EVEN if they offered it for FREE!!!! If your a civilized person you would not want to stay here!

Needs remodeling
When you stay at this hotel, you get the impression that you are in the early nineties. The decor is from that era and it is in desperate need of remodeling. The carpet in the room is old and you do not want to go around it barefooted. The staff is somewhat friendly, that is about the only good thing that I have to say about this hotel, aside from its location (next to the train station to go to Hong Kong) and decent recently remodeled restaurant in the second floor. If you want to buy knockoffs, the stores are in a building that is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, next to the train station.

There is a nice mall very close to the hotel. There is a WalMart and there is a great resturant with excellent Pekin Duck at the Laurel resturant

港からホテルの6人乗りバンのエアコンが故障していたので部屋のアップグレードをホテル側からしていただきました。 絵画村行きの車の手配、ホテルから港へ乗船時間が的確であり良かったと思います。

駅から徒歩３，４分にあり立地が抜群。部屋も広くて、ロビーも豪華。 ホテル入り口から出るバス（ロビーに時刻表あり）に乗れば、 徒歩でのイミグレ通過時間を含めて モンコックまで１時間２０分で行けた（日曜日） 料金は６０元。 時間に多少の余裕があるなら、国境を越えて深センに泊まるのも いいのではないか。料理も香港に比べてとても安いし。
