Marco Polo Shenzhen is located in the heart of the Futian Central Business District near Shenzhen Civic Shenzhen, Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center and the metro station. It is only 15 minutes to Lowu Railway Station, 20 minutes to Shenzhen North Railway Station, 15 minutes to Shenzhen Bay Port, 35 minutes to Shekou Ferry Terminal and Shenzhen Bao'an Airport, and 10 minutes to Futian Huanggang Check Point.
The 41-story Marco Polo Shenzen (Shenzhen Magebeiluo Haorizi Jiudian) is located in Shenzhen's central Futian business district, near the International Foreign Trade Center, Coco Park, Shopping Park metro station and Futian metro stsation. Nearby points of interest includes Kingkey 100, Lizhi Park, and the Shenzhen Museum. The Huanggang checkpoint and Futian checkpoint crossing, Shenzhen Convention Center, Shenzhen Golf Club, Splendid China, Happy Valley, and Window of the World are a short drive away.

very comfortable hotel, good location
I stayed in the Marco Polo while attending a conference at the Conference and Exhibition Centre, a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. There are a number of excellent restaurants nearby (including Starbucks to pick up a morning coffee on the way to the conference). The area was busy and felt safe to walk in. The rooms were very comfortable with as good or better facilities as I've encountered anywhere else. The outdoor pool is amazing. The only problem during my stay was that despite having booked for three nights stay many weeks in advance the hotel had overbooked rooms in the hotel for my first night so I had to change rooms for the second and third nights.

Great Place to Stay
I've stayed here a few times. It is a new hotel in a very convenient location in the Central Business District. Close to the metro, shopping, eating, and drinking areas of Shenzhen, but not right on top of a major intersection or highway. Just a few minutes walking and you can reach many bars, restaurants, or public transportation. Not to mention there are always plenty of taxis lingering about. Definitely not the place to go if you are looking for an "authentic" Chinese experience, but certainly a welcome retreat for those who need a calm, clean, and reasonable place to stay.

The Metro can get you close to almost anywhere in the Futian district. It is very cheap and almost as fast as a taxi.

Overall, the hotel enjoys prime
Overall, the hotel enjoys prime location as it located in the heart of the business area surrounded with malls, restaurants, business buildings & anything you need. What i didn't like were the rooms as they are too small & their design wasn't that good. its a bit old & need a full renovation.

Great hotel to stay in, too bad i am staying there for only a day. Close to Coco Park shopping centre. To go to other places, can just take the cheap taxi. Meet my expectation!
