Bookend problems make a sad
They lost our reservation at check in. Let us check in, but chased us down waiting for a taxi and made us make a $70 cell phone call to [the travel agent] in the US to get a new reservation sent. Mind you this could well have been [the travel agent's] mistake too. Hotel room was really close to the main Hong Kong to China crossing point which is great. Old center area looks glitzy, but lacks real substance. Room was clean, but tiles and tub had mildew. Twin beds had two box springs but no mattress, great if you like a super-firm-as-a-rock bed I guess. Even once they had a replacement reservation from [the travel agent], they checked us out of the room one day early and locked us out. We had to get a new key. They took care of it, but a second issue lost us as customers forever. Decided to check out a day early, back to Hong Kong for a better nights sleep. Will definitely stay somewhere else on our next quarterly trip to Shenzhen.

Short walk from hotel
There's not much here. A short walk to Genki Shushi 2 blocks south is a good bet. Also fast food abound, if you're into that stuff.

MAPからはよくわかりませんが、大きなホテルが立ち並ぶ繁華街に立地しており、外出するにも大変便利です。 価格も安いながら隣の香港に比べて部屋もゆったり広い作りでくつろげます。
