This is a perfect hotel if you
This is a perfect hotel if you are arriving in Shenzhen via train as it is walking distance from the station. Hotel staff speak good english and are very friendly. Room was very good also. Everything you need is supplied in the room. Did not eat at hotel but plently of choice of food nearby. Plenty of shopping close to the station but you need your bargaining skills.

hotel is great room is clean ,
hotel is great room is clean , within walking distance to shopping, food & beveages and easy access. cross border btw hkg and shenzhen, transport is easy. Looked forward staying again. hotel staff is pleasant.

Good Value for its Price
Century Plaza is a short walk away from Shenzhen's rail station and border crossing. The hotel has an excellent restaurant (not affiliated with the hotel) on the second floor. It also rented out space to other eateries such as KFC. If you are fuzzy about the restrooms, ask to see them before check-in. As I understand it, each floor has its own type of fixtures. It also features Japanese style rooms. It has a disco and a night club. The music is so loud it can bust your eardrums. However, for the price and the location, the hotel is a good value.

The Laurel Restaurant on the second floor is probably the best Cantonese=style restaurant in town. You can try a dim-sum (dumplings) lunch or a full dinner. If you do not smoke, ask for a non-smoking room. Pay bill with local currency, and not with HK dollars and you'll save the exchange fees.

One of the best hotels I've stayed
One of the best hotels I've stayed in SHZH last couple years in terms price/quality. Please know near the pool there is not bad night club with every night parties.
