Space and comfort in a downtown Shanghai hotel close the attractions
The Swissotel Grand Shanghai is a 467-room hotel in downtown Shanghai with excellent local transport links, and is within easy walking distance of many attractions. The main business district is on the hotel's doorstep, and the hotel contains conference and business rooms for corporate guests. There are also four well-appointed restaurants and bars in the Swissotel Grand Shanghai along with an exercise club with spa and high-speed Internet access. We had a very nice modern room
We had a very nice modern room with very comfortable king size bed. It was well serviced and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful - particularly at the concierge desk. The location is good - close to restaurants and shopping and about one hours walk to the Bund - with a metro station very close. I would definitely stay there again.

What you would expect from an
What you would expect from an international five-star hotel, Swissotel is excellent for business travellers and tourists. Location is fantastic, located about 3 minute walk from subway Line 2 and 7. Breakfast was great too with a full spread. Will definitely patronise this hotel the next time in Shanghai if the the cost is not too prohibitive.

Shanghai Center Stage
The Swisshotel was a perfect property with excellent accomodations and service. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. Very helpful staff. Close to Jing An Temple although a little difficult to locate because there is subtle signage. Excellent experience for the cost.

Bed is way too hard, should have
Bed is way too hard, should have matress toppers available on request if bed is this hard, nothing available except extra doona's to put under sheet. Ordering breakfast was frustrating, english poor on morning shift, remember this is the excecuutive breakfast area. Coffee machine milk didnt work, when asked for steamed milk over 6 days got cold milk, warm milk and steamed milk - luck of the draw Internet with cable didnt work, luckily i had wireless on my laptop.
